Hi all If i select mpg/avg speed on the lcd display it stays there for a while or for the whole journey, it seems as though if i drive 'enthusiastically' it thinks i dont want to see the mpg and swaps to the temperature and 'icy' warning, is this normal? Is my car driving to defy my wishes of seeing how much petrol its drinking? It seems as though its having a sly slurp when im not looking and altering the display to get away with it... Ta steve

sl114:- My friend had a cooper, then a works cooper s, both were brilliant little cars, the standard cooper can handle like a go kart when you get used to it... works s was a hard ride, but i like the suspension to feedback as long as its not 'too' silly. Also you mentioned your misses lived in coventry? (or am i making that up) the sytner have a fairly decent range 2nd hand there for test drives etc and if you go to a main dealers the cov one has got some good feedback, I couldnt tell whether or not the photo was the one in cov or not... Good luck either way. And just in case you need it, the sportscar specialist in birmingham i drove past the other day has some nice corvettes etc.. nice silver z06

Having now taken delivery of the zed and trying to stop myself from smiling like a maniac i was wondering... I received a leaflet posted by nissan suggesting the 10 greatest roads in britain to 'Get to know your Zed' 2 or 2 of which were in wales, north/south respectively.. IS this the route we will be taking, or is that more dictated by pubs? The route said be careful of sheep...

lol sorry dude, I've had a lodger before but he was my bro. That wasn't so bad. Can be a real pain though - def ruins spontineity in a relationship (ie, can't bend the missus over the ktichen sink incase the lodger walks in). I would of thought it was illegal to force someone to do the washing up if they dont want to 'that' badly....

Ive managed to get him to throw in the blue tooth adapter instead of more fuel, although i thought the GT pack would of come with that... he has had to order it from nissan. There is a cradle but no bluetooth.. Just hope my phone works now! (SPV M3100) Pics will follow as soon as i pick it up! Thanks

RE: the fuel He said because of the cars he sells, the fuel for test drives costs them a fortune, when i went into the showroom there was 2 boxter ' s 's 1 cayman s, 1 RS4, the zed an R32 and a Lotus exige, there was also someone in the process of part ex'ing a db9 he said they get a lot of people wanting a drive, not serious about purchasing etc...

sl114, it does have car mats, black n silver i think... i moaned a little, he said he would try, im supposed to leave my part ex with 1/2 a tank, so i said id leave that with a fiver in it, he seemed ok with that... I also borrowed the salesmans shades when i toko the zed fro a spin and still have those, so maybe some ransom is in order, tho they look like £10 jobs from boots

the salesman said he would only put £10 worth of fuel in her for me probably wont get home on that! I average about 24 in the audi, i know it wont be that good but im hoping not too far off, though you dont buy something like this for fear of fuel consumption! I went to a few audi meets, and im a big fan of santapod, so hope to see some people there too, i also have a good excuse to go to japfest this year

Hi all, ive lurked for about a week and thought it was time to say hello! On my way to take an S3 out for a final test drive, i saw what is to be my zed sat in a showroom whilst stuck in traffic, had about 2 hours so i had a look. Fell in love with it, took it for a drive and didnt make it to the audi dealership I will post some pictures when i have taken delivery, which, if my non sensible side wins (and it usually does) will be this Friday, Black GT coupe with Rays, 6000 miles on the clock, 1 owner for 20k (56 plate) Hope i havent been had, but to be honest i dont care cause the test drive was the most fun ive had in a car. Current soon to be gone is Audi A3 2.0T with flappy paddles.
