Yeah yeah until that auto box goes POP
I'm not that lucky, that would be the best reason to start planning about the stroker kit 4.2L and upgrading the gearbox
Will still be an underutilised money pit though.

Didn't fancy cutting up your brake fluid and battery surrounds I take it?

If i wanted a sweet commuter, you'd be hard pressed to beat a £6-7K boxster. Ridiculous value if you don't need load space.

I know, mate! It's just really not my sort of thing, not even a V8 one would be really. Mr and Dan are obviously the main naysayers at this party!
If you want to give me a slap, you'll have to come over the other side of the hill from Lakez, I'm sure one or two of the guests will be able to enlighten you

Love American muscle cars and love the colour. Nice choice
Fixed that for you.
(With apologies to Jay )

It's no worse than the X1

No V8?
So whats making up for the fact you're sitting on the wrong side?

If you are short on time, I haven't found anything thats anywhere near as good for a single wipe on/wipe off application.

Alfa GTV to 350z? Should I or Shouldn't I?
Yes.
But no.
Obviously if they had made the GTV rear wheel drive you wouldn't have to ask this question.

Time has arguably be kindest on the M6 out of all the Bangle-era BMWs. Those black wheels look preposterously cheap on it though.

Only cool people get banned...........
I guess you haven't be cool for some time then?

Good luck Andy, she's served you well!

Happy Birthday Daz, I assume you must be purple with drink by now

Keyfob battery might be flat.

Happy Birthday marra!

A C4S or turbo would be the ideal car for me....
...... Four wheel drive and a roof rack for the bikes!

I think they've aged quite well, and what price a screaming naturally aspirated V8?
I would imagine the usual rules apply - it was an expensive, and heavy, car new, and maintenance will still be consummate with that even if its now twenty-odd thousand sheets second hand.

Sweet! Nice one Chris, good clour combo. I think it needs the lettering put back on the rear though, looks odd without...

No Dave, it's not. But I was only referring to the fact that all infrastructure is paid for out of general taxation, and most drivers and cyclists have jobs, therefore entitling them to use the roads.
I Don't know why such focus is given to the mode of transport of arseholes, as obviously, their common feature is being an idiot, not their method of getting about.

Sorry to say though, i really dont think the roads are any place for bikes these days and if your going to get your lycra on and "get fit" you have to accept your the minority, you dont pay anything to use them and more so, massively vulnerable.
I can't believe this old chestnut still gets trotted out in 2014.

Probably the best choice there. Just keep the straps and bumper clean cos it's haze the paint up something awful.

Hopefully. Trouble is I've notice a GTR somewhere... And a Camaro
Are you ever going to do anything with the DU11 FUC?
I think the real question is are you ever going to do anything with yours!

I'm pretty happy with mine as it is. I work three days a week ,have four at my boat messing about and no debt whatsoever .
I'll never be cash rich but I'm time rich and that's what's important to me!
I did have to get run over and have my back broken to get all this but hey ho, no pain no gain
Time rich FTW!
I'll be devastated if I ever have to leave my current job. You really have to make sure you've got some hobbies though, as I've sometime been prone to bouts of procrastination and it really is the thief of time!

Elvington is known to be very hard on tyres, Blyton has a new tarmac surface though and no barriers to hit as it was an old airfield.
Sorry, yes, I meant Blyton has a laid surface!
I didn't get insurance, as long as you drive defensively, and be aware of whats happening around you, there's very little chance of hitting anyone else. The main risks come from not listening to the car and overcooking a corner due to overheating tires/brakes or being ham-fisted.
Absolutely agree with this, but when I get insurance it's not because I'm worried about myself, it's to protect my pride and joy from someone else being an idiot. That's where the real risk lies IMHO, in someone else driving like a tit and hitting you.
Yeah, it just depends on what amount of risk you find acceptible. Having said that, the main potential incident at my first trackday was an Evo coming up my left hand side into a 90 degree left hander when he had zero chance of getting past due to the lateness of his maneuver! Thankfully I'd seen it coming in my mirrors, but it was literally down to me to brake enough to let him past and not T-bone me as I turned in.
Suzanne the LS3 6.2 V8! Caution very long build thread....
