Cheers Stew, I thought it might involve some heating, did the same to remove amber sections of my old Prelude lights, parents weren't overly pleased at me cooking lights in the oven. Not sure the oven in my flat is big enough actually. Is there a guide anywhere?

Folks, just taken delivery of a clear bumper markers and clear rear bumper lense covers and silvertec bulbs but was wondering, is there any way to get rid of the amber reflector that looks to be embedded in the light housing? I've not removed the light to have a look so thought I'd ask first if its possible?

Good times! I was at a wedding reception last weekend and my 7 year old nephew wanted to sit in it because its on his computer game. Made his day!

I had the exact problem a few months ago, went for Falkens in the end. Phoned half a dozen local places and none could get the Toyo's.

Looks What % tint did you go for on the rears? Anything on the fronts or just left standard?

Clear front bumper reflectors. Got to put the rear clear indicator/fog lenses on hold cos jdm performance dont have the lenses, still on order from the 9th. Plenum fitted after all the hassle of the 1st attempt it worked perfect today and really feel the difference. Lights can wait till tomorrow, sun came out, as did the chilled beers!

Not at the moment, I'll get some over the weekend and post them up.

As I'm oncall I shall be fitting clear lenses front and rear with chrome bulbs and having another bash at my plenum. Got a fistful of guides printed out, ready to roll! Pics to follow and hopefully a sounclip of plenum and JWT. Big thanks to those who've written the guides, helpful and just passed an hour at work reading through them. Wish me luck.

Of the golf or of the Nismo replica kit?

Pro trim outside Stonehaven. Mate got some work done on his Golf there and looked spot on. Have asked for the same guy. Was a fibreglass kit he got and we lined it up in his garage and I thought no way it'll fit but they did a great job.

Agree with this, even in Aberdeen its hotting up. I drive past the University on my way to and from work and its definitely got a lot more flesh coloured this week

Yeah it is Fibreglass and he said that could be tricky. The front and rear have already been fitted to a Z and sprayed same colour as mine but could do with a touch up as they've got a few scrathes now and stone chips.

Just got an estimate from a local bodyshop to have a Nismo (replica) kit painted and fitted. Said they'd need the car 5 days (Mon-Fri) and it'd be £350-400 for painting and fitting a lip, side skirts and rear spats. I've no idea if this is reasonable but plan to get a few more estimates.

It sure is. Must have a dozen pics of Lost from snowboarding days up the lecht. I always used to think it was open all year round cos it had other things going on other than the skiing? Was all closed when we went passed. Wedding was up in Nairn so took the A96 to Huntly then through Rothes on the way up then home via Grantown on Spey, Tomintoul to Strathdon road.

Stew, the way things have been I count the drive out to Westhill to see my folks as a road trip at the moment! The car is wasted in the city centre commute, found a whole new appreciation of it over the weekend.

What are the differences between the with and without Y pipe? Noise, gains (well prob none due to the ECU) etc...........

Stock plenum back on, working fine. Hmmmmmm, i suspect that bypass valve has something to do with it cos there was a stink of collant after the run.

No joy after a trial run, and a strong smell of burning! Away to start from scratch again.
