Yeah made a point of checking that cos i've screwed that bit up before when i fitted a CAI to a previos car. It sounds really bubbly when i give it some gas after starting, def doesnt sound healthy!

ecu and throttle reset not worked, away to strip it back and start again!

is there a guide on the throttle position sensor reset? ecu reset didnt do it

yeah Maf is on fine, just checked all hoses and screws to plenum and popcharger. my dad said some fluid shot up from under the throttle body when i first started it.

No no no, something is not agreeing! All connected up, battery back on, turn key and it revs to 3k before spluttering off. Checked everything and cant see the issue.

Folks, installing my Kinetix Plenum and JWT popcharger today and I've hit a bit of a brick wall. Following the excellent instructions in the guide I've just reattached the throttle body to the new plenum and sat it in place but I notice that the Kinetic Plenum seems to be missing a few hose connections around the throttle body compared to the oem plenum. Any help?

Just away to reconnect battery and check for leaks, nothing obvious when I got in but not the kind of thing you think to look for when popping to the shops!!

Battery is disconnected now. Alarm was blaring last night for a bit and its done it before when it snows. Maybe just doesnt like cold. Maybe a fuse gone? Lights, wipers, windows and central locking gone. Mirrors, radio, alarm and displays all work! Random!

Wierd wierd problem with the Z today I wanted to run past you guys. Was away down to shops, got in the car and noticed the traction control and SLIP lights were on, so pushed the button to switch off and nothing happened. Then noticed no heating, electric windows or mirrors, lights or wipers were working. Managed to drive, did my shop, came back out thinking maybe it was a one off, still nothing. Main lights went on with the switch, then couldn't get them to switch off!! Away to disconnect the battery as the lights won't switch off!

He was asking if I had any plans for the car mod wise and if he could help out fitting anything I did get so think there's still a part of him devoted to the 350!

Stew, I'll give George a shout next time I see him, he might want to go shotgun with someone, last time I spoke to him in Costco he missed the Z and was thinking of getting another.

Yeah I sold the CTR in August to Westhill Cars then started working rotation in Angola before pedestrian status got too much and I spotted Steve's Z. Haven't had the luck with the weather so far though. Left the cinema with Ewoks last night to white out conditions, crawled it up through Union Street back to the flat. What have you done to yours? What do the neighbours think!!!

Nothing at the moment. I've been reading a bit about performance mods and the ECU resetting itself each time, so they dont make much difference with a new ECU?

Yeah, snow hit today and got 0C on the thermometer and the ICY warning, like i hadn't noticed!! Great car and love the looks it gets round town, specially with the cheeky private plate.

Steve, 2 Pilot Sports, been calling around every local tyre shop in the yellow pages today, got down to 135 a tyre from a local in Aberdeen. Kwik Fit wanted 250. Its started snowing here today so I've been so timid!!
