Hi Stu - had mine now for 2 months - best thing I ever did - just go for it!! 9000 miles servicing cost - average £200 per service, super soft paint finish at the front - I guess running costs will probably be similar to your Type R - worst! My road tax is £400 - (07 313bhp roadster) I get about 28-31 mpg on motorways and mid 20's rest of time. Will eat tyres probably once a year, you will spend a fortune on waxing it to death and then you will get the modding bug from the Zed bods on this forum -but none of this matters - its a proper GT car - sounds great and handles on rails - No regrets from me - I repeat just go for it!! If only all Nissan dealers were like this! While this was happening I had an Xtrail for the day to see the sight of Telford..... So downtown Ironbridge it was then off to Shrewsbury for a quick scan - blimey must be same builders a Chester - I will go back there for a proper look one weekend I think - very nice When I got the Zed I drove back up through welsh countryside and went over the horseshoe pass - deffo bedded the pads in now I can tell you What fab roads out there... soon as I reached Manchester Airrport - yup the heavens opened - and had another embarressing dash to the hard shoulder to get the roof up Anyway downtown Ironbridge..... Thanks a lot better now side of my mouth is normal size again! Managed to miss a tedious conference call and its not far off finish time at 4pm so on the whole things looking up - Telford tomorrow which is a day off - so look out Colin - with new brakes I shall be able to erm not use them as much in Scotland! Sorry small rant on its way! 1. Some joker was letting fireworks off after midnight last night 2. Parked up for dentists appointment this morning - putting money in to meter and was 5p short of the extra time I needed - pressed the green go button accidentally so paid extra for nowt! 3. Dentist normally really good with injections (i,e I dont really feel them) not this morning....OoooooooooooooooCH I flinched like a baby! Bonus ball - Work messed up overtime payments and not paid any! I am well short of my 9million hours from last month which means I will have to eat dry bread with a light dusting of strawberry flavoured sawdust

It looks a lot better than the mini but will go the same way - i.e every Estate agent and granny will have one in 6 months time! I sat in one when they were released - I'm not tall but my head was almost touching the roof with drivers seat on lowest setting and forget sitting in the back ! Otherwise they have done a nice job inside - over all looks ok see a few now bobbing about - get one in a mushroom brown colour - looks the best - but no stupid stripes on it though! If she is desperate to buy one - she's better waiting another 6 months till fuss has died down and stealers have stocks in - remember these are made in Poland for 50p although they are the same equivalent price over there also!
