  1. Also Colin we need some more info please? Does everything still work or just 1 part of it? Dont know this printer - is it just a printer or one of those fancy copy, scan , fax etc etc jobs?
  2. Ok so what is your pc's operating system XP or Vista?
  3. Well it has been a comfy car for me - this is only just happening now - which means I am probably wearing my knees out and getting old!!
  4. Colin havea shuftie here for updated drivers http://www.kyoceramita.co.uk/index/prod ... ._.EN.html
  5. I thought it might be as I swop between using the van and Zed - but no - when driving van - no such problem - just when in the Zed - maybe I need to change driving position or just park in Costco sized car parks only! Ha ha thanks Mart......
  6. Recently I have noticed my left leg has been hurting particularly badly - especially near the knee area? I think its because the Zed has long doors and when parked in a standard size parking bay you can't open the door far since it is so loooong. So left leg in the footwell you twist yourself in as your going to sit down and then you have to move your right leg and twist it in also avoiding scratching the fragile door cards etc! So I think all the weight and stress is being forced onto my left leg especially on the knee joint - either that or I am just falling apart as I am getting old!!! Does anyone else have this issue or do you all do Starskey and Hutch style jump in entrances!!
  7. OK Mr Biscuit - ask Mrs Biscuit to get it you for Xmas and I dare you to wear it to a Zed meet Beavis - So how much does your brother have to pay road tax for his Intergalactic Fighter when he travels to Preston in it? Does it take him 2 mins to get there subject to weather conditions?
  8. to the forum Matt The Zed engine seems a pretty tough unit so high milers should'nt be a problem as long as they have full service history at the right intervals - just about everyone on here takes care of theirs so best place to buy - keep looking and hope you find the one you want soon enough?
  9. If I see one of these on the motorway in white I think of these! Just look at the front - surely some fresh out of college designer must have been influenced??? (This is Stews fault for reminding me with his Shopping Geek thread!)

  12. Go for the Samsung Omnia mate - I've got the original from last year when they came out but the new HD version is out now - may be tempted to upgrade when my contract finishes
  13. If your needed to paint or clean calipers (not brembo or fancy painted ones) cilit bang is great BANG - and the dirt is gone! Yeah BANG!! - and 'oh sh** my discs have dissolved!! ' Alex - help!!!
  14. Alex is the forums 5th emergency service He has helped us in the past , he is very modest, he knows what he is talking about folks and he gives a lot of his time and knowledge freely to us. Good work Alex
  15. As a general rule I would not cover my car unless I lived near sea water or a cement factory or quarry! I cover to Beetle to keep it from rusting any more than it already has - as its not entirely water tight. Same goes for garages - cars should fare better out doors rather than garages unless the garage is warm and has free flowing air to vent the car. So dont bother unless you really want to - you also need to clean the car and the cover (or at least dust it off) before ftting the cover as it is likley to scratch the paint.
  16. Is that meaning, you take particular care of your nuts but as for the rest ...... A Benny Hill moment there Colin!
  17. thought this was going to turn into an old Woolies advert for a minute! You will be trying Cillit Bang on the discs next!
  18. I got the Monsoon cover for my beetle to say it was a fitted type well not entirely ... its the lower end of the market for covers. Its ok so far but is from a calico type material which doesn't look durable long term tbh think you may have to go for a semi fit type for sports cars or get it made bespoke but then the pounds mount up
  19. Master Beavis I have trained you well in the art of Aldi ... my work is done
  20. don't get me started i wouldn't mind paying the £400 road tax or the 75% tax on fuel if we actually had a road network that was similair to the french motorways. i doubt even half the money we pay ever see's the roads. its the same old thing, we don't get value for money, we have politicians who are quite happy to **** it up the walls for us. Yup your right there.... the French roads even in the back of beyond are excellent - obvisouly they have grabbed as much Euro money also but at least they have actually spent it on the road and not Duck Houses etc etc
  21. Ooer - what have I started!! So when we are paying our £400 road tax every year we can see it has been used wisely then ................... NOT!
  22. Oh yeah forgot about the M62 - generally avoid it there must be a subliminal sign just outside Leeds that says - drive like a moron now and cause an accident!
