  1. Hi folks my mum wants a radio cassette player for Christmas !!!! Yes I know ! Well she has loads of tapes (that's something you young uns will have to google for! ) it difficult to find them there is an Alba one from Argos for £18 or Sony ones for a lot more money and then seperates that are £200+!!!! What is going on why so expensive thought they would be peanuts?? Any suggestions for decent ones that don't cost a fortune???
  2. Hoping to go once Baby Z is born although Lucy has been before and she loved it By way of contrast sat in an Italian restaurant across road from hotel yes it's clean and food is nice but let's say the staff leave a lot to be desired. I fear if they smiled their time on the Earth would end abruptly!!!!
  3. Sat bored in Hotel room so flicking through the TV channels which unusually seems to have a wide selection of other countries tv here?? Iranian , Arab, the usual American, german, BBC and other euro channels but best of all Japanese!! Totally no idea what they are saying but looks really funny and well very inoccent almost child like and yet very respectful In a similar vein had a few Japanese air crew staying also wish I could take a picture without looking like a pratt ? I have never seen any aircrews look so spotless, polished and elegant. It was like that Virgin airways ad where they all walk out in unison really made everyone stop and stare bet their planes run on time also

  6. Check on the fabric when trying to fold down there is a Velcro strip about 1/2 inch thick and runs across the roof inside near the window this sometimes catches on the hood and stops it folding all the way! You need to open and close about 5-6 times to get everything loosened up if you have not folded the roof down much in the past few weeks . Ask someone to watch it folding ad you press the button then you can work out where the issue lies most times, remember never fold the roof when fabric is wet always wait till it dries. Hope this helps?
  7. Thanks for the extra info Neil will ask a few contacts at work when I get back- away on training for a week though. Will Pm you with any info / contacts I may get but don't hold your breath you know what Christmas is like for jobs unless your a fat bearded bloke who likes to wear red!!

  9. Yes all ok thanks. I thought planes couldnt fly after 11pm in a built up area? They are still flying well into midnight here before they stop? I could clean up here as a taxi in my 300c could make enough to buy another 350
  10. Oh dear this is going to be a bad thread I can feel it!!! When I was very little I stayed at cousins country house in the middle of a Forrest in Poland. traditional old worlde building timberframed no electricity or indoor toilets. One night I woke up in the middle of the night desperate for a pee. I couldn't find the bowl under the bed and of course no lights. Too scared to venture downstairs in the dark and into the back yard where there were big wooden communal toilets , I has a flash if genius!! I opened the little sash window in my bedroom and peed out onto the front of the house!! what relief I thought, as I was doing this I heard someone walking past ! Oops hope they just thought it was rain
