sorry guys cant make it now, still got the engine bay with bits missing parts in the body shops some bits at the welders, some bits being made etcetc its a shame but car will look great when its done

Ill get a picture off it lacquered but its only a small piece on a can so not easy to see

had a piece lacquered today and to be honest just makes the roof look darker so more like the black

That is a weird shot mike thats caused that! But there is a slight twist in the weave but thats because when they place it on and stretch it, it pulls in different ways be near impossible id have thought to do it without that! But looking from front to back its perfect its from corner to corner you notice the slight wiggle in the weave! It doesnt matter who talks about doing it, its about who does it

There's a big difference in saying and doing though! Still not 100% about the roof as it doesnt match the other but new it would'nt just hoping it can be lacquered

In my eyes the the lacquer would give it more off a shine and make it look more like the real thing but maybe not thats why im going to have a test piece done at the bodyshop and if it looks good ill do it if not just leave it as it is! One thing with it like this though it can be marked easily if you run your nail down it and you know what people are like at shows for touching the cars so the lacquer would help in that respect

The roof will set you back around 150 but depends no material they use, could be abit more or less! But the more you have done the better deal you get! If I can have it lacquered I might sell my carbon parts and have all the top half off the car done Ill try get some better pics today bronzee if I get chance to clean the z, then just fingers crossed we can get it right at the bodyshop
