  3. Okay, here's how it went. Woke up this morning, checked my bank account only to find I hadn't yet been paid!!! The company I work for have never, ever been late paying, but today they were. A few frantic phone calls later and all had been resolved, the money would be in some time today. It finally registered around 2.30, so I rang Torque to say I was on my way. Got there about 3pm, and after all the paperwork and the usual niceties, I took possesion of the keys at 4 and was ready to get off. My dad came with me, I think he was just as excited, and was well impressed when he saw it. By the time I had got to a gararge to fill 'er up, dropped my dad off at home so he could mum out to have a butchers, I really haven't had much time to just drive about I don't have to say how I feel since picking it up, you've all been there. Tomorrow I'll get out with the lark and spend the day with my new toy. Dartmoor here I come! There will be photo's to follow. Promise.
  4. This is it, then. The money's arrived in the bank, and I'm off to collect the car. This has to have been the longest 3 weeks of my life! Laters dude
  5. 0..... So here it is, boys and girls, the day I collect my new toy At least it would be I checked my bank account, and guess what, I haven't been paid yet I have now got to make any number of phone calls to my office, bank, car dealers, and try to sort this mess out. Quickly!

  11. I got a phone call from a work mate today, asking if I'd had a call from the office , I thought he was winding me up but it turned out they wanted him to go to Russia on friday And he's just booked a holiday abroad from tomorrow I have to admit, my heart was in my mouth for about 2 hours til it was all cleared up But yeah, tomorrow's the day, and I cant sit still!!!
  12. Good news indeed, well pleased for you. If I can offer a suggestion, why not start a thread counting down the days til you collect? phew, managed to edit that before anyone noticed
  13. Erm.... erm..... erm...... twelvety
  14. It's a fair point. I rememebr my mate taking me out for a ride in his Elise, he played techno type stuff really loud, when all I wanted to hear was the engine. Needless to say the music lost out
  15. gimme some ideas, folks, on what should be the first cd I play in me noo mote-ah. I want the perfect album with some real kickin' driving tracks. These things are important, dontcha know.
  16. D'you think I should start counting down hours now?
  17. Press 'quote' and then begin typing underneath the quote. Oh yeah, I see, thanks
  18. Of course, I'm looking forward to running into you on the roads, mate!
  19. I have been driving about all over Plymouth and the surrounding areas for the last couple of weeks (since putting the deposit on my Zed, did I mention that I'm getting one?), and I've been hypersensitive to other cars on the road. I haven't seen a single, solitary 350 on the roads anywhere! FANTASTIC
  20. Every time I try and include a quote in my posts, I click the open quote button, copy and paste the text from the post I'm quoting, then click the close quote button. Here's the problem, my subsequent post doesnt show who it is I'm quoting, only the text in the box-out. How do I show who it is I'm quoting? please tell me it's not just as simple as typing their name above in bold font
  21. It's a promotional film, notice there's no other vehicles around? My guess is it's a dummy on the scooter released as the car aproaches with the obvious outcome. The film is then cut as the pedestrian runs into the frame from the near right of the shot, the dummy is replaced with an actual person, and the the film is shot again with the same pedestrian running into the frame. This hides the switch and makes it look more convincing. A similar ad was shown over here with a car on a busy high street running down a child, the switch was hidden behind a pair of pidgeons flying across the frame, all very clever stuuf, but definately rigged
  22. Now, You've probably all seen this, but I've been getting my Zed fix on youtube to tide me over til thursday. I give you; Vicky Butler-Henderson squealing with delight in a 350, strangely erotic, I think you'll agree.... Keep the faith
  23. I know exactly how you're feeling, Ads, Picking mine up day after tomorrow and I'm so wound up, I can barely breathe! I haven't slept for days!!! Welcome to the brotherhood
