  1. Looks very tidy bud. I've still not seen any of this in the flesh. I prefer the wet look carbon so will be interested to see if this stuff looks good.

  3. Hammer on a socket one size smaller? Or get a blow torch and apply some heat? Last choice, grind it off?
  4. You'd be suprised... bumper off is a 5 minute job. (for my JDM at least, without the 2nd washer bottle).
  5. Yes can do mate, good idea. Will do a guide at the weekend. Seeing as you had your bumper off though, this will be a walk in the park for you
  6. Do you have clear ones on your car currently? Im having trouble sourcing the reflectors. If you are interested, you can always remove your reflectors and post them to me, and i can fit the lights and return, within the week. The only down side to you is that you dont have any reflectors for a week. PM me if interested.
  7. Welcome bud.

    Engine needed

May struggle on here mate, but try driftworks or sxoc.
  9. Update - i have 1 set now for sale here: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=34635
  10. Why have none of you wired it so that its on permanently?? Mine is just on, and then when i want to view it, i just change inputs on the head unit. No big deal at all That way i dont have to be in reverse every time i want to show somebody.
  11. I have an auto and think its fantastic. The tiptronic override is very useful.
  12. +1 a must.
  13. Yep, whatever you do, dont over tighten them. And i thought the torque setting to use was 110nm personally. To do the fronts, i put a long sturdy screwdriver inside the vents of the brake disk, which stops it rotating past your calipers.
  14. Ouch, £400-£500. Sounds a bit over priced to be honest, i'd expect to pay £300 tops. Might be more economical to find a used bonnet in GM and buy that instead... I thin they regularly go for around £100. I would however definitely get it fixed somehow as why would people bother buying a car with such a cosmetic fault? I wouldnt buy it.
  15. Thats looking fantastic... I may be interested in a little of this off you so i can wrap my b pillars...
  16. Might be worth swapping those led plate lights too bud... i was told mine 'technically' is a fail due to mine as they were too blue (even though they are pure white), but the guy let me off in the end... 5 minute job before hand saves the hassle afterwards.
  17. Check your rear fog is working... mine on my import was a bit dodgy and failed for that... also, make sure your windscreen washers work correctly, as if they're not very effective thats a fail too. Lastly, make sure you remind them not to test the brakes on the rollers. Good luck mate.
  18. This is what i'm looking to do... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Night-Vision-Rear ... 2a060b270e Yep, virtually the same as mine. You get 5 meters of cable with this, so you can run the power from anywhere - it doesnt have to be the reverse light.
  19. ...but wont you be plugging it into your head unit? I just took a live feed from there... then its on all the time.
  20. Hi guys, As per my other thread, i can now offer these for sale as i am now a paid up member trader.... viewtopic.php?f=32&t=33081&hilit=reflector I currently have one set of LED reflectors available for part exchange only. They are the dark smoked orange reflectors that are standard on most cars, with 6 white superbight LEDs on each side. These will fit pre-2006 cars only. The LED's are mounted in the actual reflector lens, with all wiring housed inside. The reflectors have then been filled with clear silicone sealant to water proof them, and the back put back on. These are £45 plus your original reflectors in exchange. Once you make payment, i will post these out , and then you can remove your old ones and send them to me while fitting the new ones. I will also include additional wire and snap in connectors so you have everything required to fit them. FYI you wire these into your sidelights. -------terms & conditions--------- I have tested another set of these that i made on my car for about 5 weeks without any problems. I will guarantee my electrics for 3 months. If they fail during that time, i can only ask that you post them back and i can either give you a refund, or repair them and return. I will not be able to offer a standard unmodified reflector back to you. ---------------------------------- Thanks Chris.
