  1. Zeals are a true rear coilover and not that well suited to the 350z! The rear top mounts are not designed to take the weight of the car sitting on the spring. The coilovers are cheap as hell tho!
  2. I think The auto's use a 3.3FD mate and with 700whp your gonna need it ! I like the racelogic traction control mate. Would be first on the zed!
  3. Hi guys just giving you an update on my car after the clutch sarga! lol. After finding i had to drop the gear box off the car to fix the problem. ( a £7.12 pivot that broke!!!!!!!!!) I turned this bad situation around decided to go for a clutch and flywheel upgrade at the same time. I had been looking into the clutch and flywheel combos for a while and narrowed it down to the JWT combo or the ACT pro steet and billet flywheel. After a few phone calls I went for the JWT set up from Kev @ envy performance. Clutch combo came next day in the post and was packed very well! The gear was fitted at Middlehurt motorsport nissan dealers in st. Helens near to me. Great service from these guys as Bob from RJN posted the slave cyclinder i needed direct to andy the owner of middlehurst motorsport as there long term mates! Right. I was worried that this combo would chatter and sound like a cement mixer. First time i started it NO noise at all! This was from cold though and car was on high 1500 RPM idle. The clutch pedel is MUCH lighter than the stock 2003 clutch i had. Before when i was looking it to the clutch combo's i did not like the idea of a lighter cluch pedel as i like the beefy clutch in my 03! But now after 100mile with it i MUCH prefer the lighter action! (helps with banzai style gear changes!! haha) I have the SS clutch line ,Motul RFB 600 fluid and new slave cylinder and this set up is SOOOOOOOOOOO smooth! The gear change feel more precise and smoother after the adjustments made to the gear selector after the box was out. The clutch engages at the bottom of the pedel travel which is differnt to my old cluch as the engament was much higher. The cluch its self bits much harder than the old stock clutch and is a little harder to drive as its harder to slip it off the line. The flywheel is half the weight of the stock (14.2 lb vs. 32 lb ) and lets the car revs MUCH faster! The first thing i noticed was when the car starts from cold it revs to 2500RPM and lets out a great little bark! Revs drops to around 1500 but move around as the car gets used to the low weight flywheel. On the road the Clutch and flywheel do make some noise below 2k rpm but its not bad as my girlfreind did not notice till i asked her to listen out for it! The car feels much more eager to rev and make the whole car feel much lighter on it feet! Im still breaking the clutch in, im at 120 miles out of 500 im doing to get the clutch broken in properly. So im not doing standing starts or reving much over 3K rpm in any gear! (very hard as all i want to do is go for a blast and try it out! lol...) To some it up guys its a great upgrade for the car and make the whole driving experence much better! Just a few pics i snapped before it went into the ar never to be seen again! lol..
  4. Jasper have you ever driven a car with 600whp? That kind of power will pull you face off at WOT! The difference in real life between 600 and 700whp on UK roads wont be extra performance it will be just less traction and more tyre smoke!!!! hahaha. I think at 600whp your gonna struggle like hell for grip even with 305 rears ! Cant wait te see how you get on!
  5. You wont reach 700whp on the stock aps turbo's mate. Ive heard they run outta puff around 600whp. You may need the uprated extream turbos with extrunal waste gates to get teh 700whp mark. In for pics and a ride in the pasenger seat when its done mate!
  6. The nosie is clutch chatter mate. my JWT does it at lows revs. As adam said just get used to it! lol....
  7. I said id take in the pm mate ? Whats your paypal address and where good to go!
  8. It has the stillen hood so i assume the stilln supercharger? That kit in its highest state of tunre will not make 450hp!
  9. Ill take it mate!

  16. Wright guys i have a big problem. Over the past few days i thought my clutch was catching on my floor mat on the up stroke after a gear change. I thought nothing of it but tonight i came to a stop at my girlfreinds house and dipped the clutch to go into nutral and i heard a bang and the clutch pedel went all the way to the floor and did not return up??? I have been searching my350z and rang Phil and so far i have the following theorys? air in the system broken presure plate settings on the clutch pedel slipped I have noticed that the fluid in the clutch header tank was at the min mark so it may be air ?? If i bend down and pump the clutch pedel by hand it has no resistance and just goes up and down. As i pump the pedel the fluid in the header tank drops from max to min after 15-20 pumps? If i leave the clutch pedel depressd the header level stays the same, but if i bring the pedel back to the top of its stroke then the fuild header fills back up to full?? I needs some help guys as i have wales meet on sunday and i may not get it sorted before japfest!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!
  17. sorry for being off topic but did you get 274bhpp on a dyno recently? No mate ive only had 2 dyno's done at dyno demon on a dynodynamics and they were 281bhp and 286.9bhp. why??

    quaife lsd

Thats fine mate, im looking at the Quafe and cusco/carbonetics diff's at the moment. Just wondering how much better the ATB diff would be over our viscous unit ?? ATB diff's do not fully lock like clutch diffs and would still allow a wheel to spin if its not in contact with the ground. (clipping the apex on track and wheel jumping). Let me know how you get on! Also try RJN as they use a lot of quafe gear!
  22. Its ok mate! Ill just nick a post of yours when you finally post somthing worth nicking! hahaha.....

    quaife lsd

Why is it that you want the ATB quafe diff ?? Not a clutch diff ??
  24. Just fitted mine to night mate. You only use the 4 end bolts. 2 at each end then the 2 self tapping screws and 3m tape! The other hole are for mounting the extra varis under tray! Im gonna have to raise my car up as its only 5mm from the floor when coming off my drive!!!!!
  25. im in as well depending on price and my funds ! lol..
