  1. Think that has something to do with the sudden rise in the price of gold and the supposed lack of the stuff!

yep, concour with Dan, the thread discussion did say the bit about the 400degs.. if they do it cheap they will be staking the oven and doing lots in one go... if there charging more they may do them in smaller batches and can control the heat of the items there putting in... Easy way is to ask them for a guarantee! If they dont then think about walking away!

  5. Should be easy as its all hidden behind the bumper! just make sure your get some decent degreaser.. you cna get alcohol wipes from halfords.. stretch the carbon film on a flat table and just press down flat and hard... get rid of any little bubbles and then trim around the edges! Nope you dont need the reflectors!

You do need to be careful on the temp of the heat used on the rays... people have had them done and ended up like this...

  8. Just make one up, IIRC its 16mm silicone you need... Give the guys at Hose Solutions a shout as they sell it
  9. No, I sold them to Jon, dont think he has fitted them though.. They came from Delsa motorsports but it looks like they are out of business... just get some fake carbon wrap like the stuff richbrooke sell and stick it on!
  10. actual weight - genuine = 29.9 lbs NISMO = 21.6 lbs inertial weight - genuine - 3.94 lbs NISMO - 2.86 lbs the lighter the flywheel, the quicker the engine revs, both up and down. However, it also means you need more revs when accelerating from a dead stop. The lighter units, by their nature, are noisier than heavier units, as mass acts as a damper of the noises. Nice one Adam... Just goes to prove you cant read everything you read on there! Esp when lots of it need updating!!
  11. Ah they were!! But then I did this.. And they do this when you indicate!!
  12. Any main reasons for this Alex, im only using the car for street / track days, so a relatively mild setup, but would be happy for it to have a bit more of a harsh clutch feel than standard. I would have thought the Nismo item would be good, they are normally quality bits. Nismo will be good am sure... but arnt you better to find the company that makes the Nismo one as I would be pretty sure they dont make it themselves... and just brand it
  13. yep had them on mine with LED's in them.. Or you can have the chargespeed ones...
  14. the one that comes off the underside of the air intake tube and runs to the back of the engine?

  21. Nice one wayne, glad it came out well in the end Cracking bit of kit
  22. Weird question but original or aftermarket knob? There is normally a little brass cuff that fits in the knob on the OEM, sometimes this can work loose and cause a rattle that can carry on through to the gearbox and amplify! Remove knob and have a look, or tighten up and see!
