From the research i have done, there is no way the car is worth that much (unless the kit is worth about £2k) you can regurlarly get 350z GTs for around £12k, and i have been looking for the last 2months or so. Also with my powers of persuation and the fact it has been there for quite a while having spoken to them (porobably the cost again) On a side note though, how much would you expect my insruance quote to go up? Also will i have problems on ever single hit, sleeping policeman, curb, cattle rid that i get close to? You may do well then if the guy hasnt been watching the market! prices have gone up! Weird question on the insurance as non of us know you or how much your paying at the moment!! Ask them as they will have the info perhaps? It shouldnt be that much difference but it depends who your going with... its not been lowered so no!

Why is someone going to drop 1.5k on a 13.9k car ? Its worth 14k!!!! Nismos could be factory fit if its an import but were fitted by NMGB / dealers after the stock one was bought in as a UK car. Dont know how they could tell if it was factory fit unless it is a true Nismo! If you want it replaced in the event of an accident yes you have to declare...

Remove plastic covering in the boot lid (pull from the window side) When plastic is removed, you will see a rectangular weight in the boot lid held by 4 screws.. 10mm spanner, remove. While your there remove the rear windscreen wiper and motor and bung the hole with a rubber gromet from halfrauds...!! Replace plastic. Close boot. Stand back, drink tea (or coffee and smoke fag if your taht way inclined!), pick up weight and wonder why its soo heavy and why its there... (and also marvel how good your hatch looks shaved if you have removed the wiper.. and then coat the screen with rain-x... !)

Beat me too that one!! Godd advice mate! If your going to clean a pop charger filter, clean it, oil it and then leave it standing upright on some kitchen towel over night so the excess drains off if you have over oiled it...

the one thing you may want to ask is, was it used with kinetix cats... Have been know to be issues with the kinetix cats and nismo exhausts as the cats arnt supported like the oem ones are... Gaskets, dont worry as you will probably need to buy new ones! Condition, you will see... just check the flanges and welds for cracks and straightness... If the car had a nismo on it, any other fruity bits on the car that the breaker has?

am i the only one who laughed at the stupidity of that No I did too!! Is that a civic money saving idea Jerry? One thing on the discs (that is happening to me at the moment) is that the disc will start to get a little rough like sandpaper and this (I am told) will start to degredate the pads and wear them away quicker... Someone correct that if I am wrong!! Just looking around now to find the best deal on a set of pads and discs... May just replace the front pads and discs for now...

Nice one mate, good to know, I went with the uprated ones from Envy for the rears and the adjustable ones at the front due to having an after market bonnet (nice touch for those with a CF bonnet as you can adjust to suit the weight of the bonnet and not snap it in 1/2!!) Good to have alternatives

Data... you need to make sure your contract on the sim you use has the right data contract... iphones are online most of the time and if you have email via microsoft exchange coming through all the time it can be costly! we just had an engineer that landed a £900 bill on his company vodafone contract!!

do you mean spray the front wings and the front bumper? Or just the bits next the the bonnet? And its 3 tone not 2 Looking good David, far better than the last one IMO

Think Zap tests all his kit before it goes out so would be very suprised if it didnt fit!! They are normally a better fit than the original as they fully fit the space, the oem ones leave a 1cm gap around the tonnau

Just out of interest, what costs are people getting on a non O2 network for using a jailbroken iphone as I have heard some horror stories recently...

Nice work but am interested to see how long they stay gassed up at that pressure, i did hear from another company that does this type of stuff that the seals are normally rated to certain pressures, looking good if they are rated to 800n. Also how long does it take to get done? By return? Relying on the post at the moment it could be 3 weeks! And another thing on the removal of the struts... its better as a 2 man job or at least make sure you support the boot with a broom stick or something! The boot is bloody heavy and could cause injury if your not careful!

nissan wont have one as they use a white bulb... hence the need for the red reflector!! You just need to find a 20mm wedge bulb... Sometimes known as a T20... whilst your there try and get some amber LEDS to replace the indicators (same size) for a good clean look... If you want to run without a fog (not that sensible in winter!) just swap the wire that runs from the fog bulb into the harness block from where it is to the spare one of the 4... symetrical reverse lights

One thing with the karcher is try and get one with the soap holder and also a vario lance.. And dont use the attachemnt with the cone head as you may change the colour of parts of your car Soap holded makes things a little easier and saves time, vario lance is a worthwhile bit of kit as you can vary the pressure of the jet...

You can retrim your seats in virtually any colour you like. It isn't a problem for a trimmer to do. You might be surprised by the price too.... Off topic I know but I think I'll become famous for this My brain work only at night (shame I have to work in 6 hours) If I get the leather seat re trimmed can I get them re foamed too so the shape becames more like a sport seat. Don't really want too lose the heat and electronic movements. Like this? I think you mean adding additional bolsters on the bottom section and more support in the shoulder area? Maybe but it would be expensive and difficult... if you move too much in your luxury executive warmed leather chair buy a CG-Lock!! You wont move anymore!! heat... eat more beans and that will warm the seat... electric? why do you need to move it once its been set? no one else should be driving it!!

when? In that one when someone prangs one in Japan or the US and they sell the parts on ebay!! Having looked (close!) at the 370, interior retrims look like they are gonna be pretty easy! If we get a ltd edition model in the UK (Pretty sure we will as Europe, Japan and the US have one!) then it will have a "different" interior...

Thats not aftermarket!! Its OEM! You get the aftermarket one when you do it yourself!!
