  1. Welcome back Stan - hope you had a good little break. What else did you get up whilst up in Scotland?
  2. Sorry to hear that - hopefully you will manage to keep a hold of the car. PM sent also.
  3. Just in from giving the car a quick clean before tucking it away in the garage again after an excellent afternoons driving Thanks to everyone that turned up (especially those from down south who took time out of their vacation to come along) and for helping make it a good day. Hats off to Garry too for the route selection - some really great roads we got to travel along - and the scenery wasnt bad either If any of the local lads fancy doing this again, whether it be the same route or a new route just give me a shout as i'd definitely be up for it. Thanks again Cool Hand Luke
  4. Going to head off shortly, fill up with overpriced fuel and make my way over for 1pm NOTE: If anyone is posting pics up later can they please take a couple of minutes to blank or blur out registration plates before posting please. Thanks.
  5. +1 to that - Especially the comfort factor
  6. I already have one. I got it even before I picked up the car. Thats how desperate I was to start buying stuff for my new Z. The Aluminium Tax disc holder is a must too for any hardcore tuner. I dropped 2 grams in weight from the stock tax disc holder and could feel the extra throttle response instantly. Weight reduction is the key to fast cars. My next mod to make the car lighter, will be to attach some childrens ballons full of helium to my wing mirrors. In fact, I think the best way to lighten your Z for the track is just not have a driver in it. If you dont get in, then your 75-90 kg saving could give your car the extra edge in a race. Unfortunately, the telekinesis skills to change gear AND steer at the same time, are beyond me. I'll just have to keep practising! Great ideas
  7. ab350z - will you be showing off your new exhaust at the Glasgow meet on Sunday? Good pic by the way Gixxer
  8. Think so, I went to Carlisle for my Sunset I bought my GM from the North of England - so that theory is out the window
  9. Started raining through here just in time for finishing work - why does that always seem to happen?
  10. Cheers for the comments on the car Adam - i do like keeping it clean as a whistle Well done dude - some great shots there - think everything came together quite well and worked out nicely. Looking forward to getting my hands on the rest of the shots to ponder over. Think i like pics 6 & 9 the best. I think the ones with the car in the foreground or close up works best as the backdrop seems to dominate some of the shots when taken at a distance. Thanks again for everything - see you on Sunday (maybe also get a chance to do that reflections shot we spoke about) Big thumbs up to AR Photographs!
  11. Result - well done dude When does it arrive?
  12. Hello & Welcome Lots of good advice on here - sure you'll be able to find answers to most questions you have. Good time to buy as Martin says - though everyone says the 'for sale' market is slow there seems to be lots of new owners pouring into the forum so there are still a lot of sales from what i can see. Possibly just more cars for sale now than there used to be. Spain won 3-0 by the way
  13. I'm not 100% sure but i think there might be a pair for sale on Ebay at the moment from an 05 car - worth a quick search
  14. Right folks - just to confirm the plan for Sunday... Meeting up at 1pm at the Showcase Cinemas (G69 7TZ for those who want to fire it in the Sat Nav) for a chat and some pics, then once we're all there we'll head off for a drive along the roads outlined in Garry's previous post: 1 - Motorway blast 30mins down M74, Showcase Cinema to Abington 2 - Abington to Sanquhar, 20-30 mins picturesque twisties including quick picture stops half way 3 - Sanquhar - quick stop to regroup/chat/eat/etc as required 4 - Sanquhar to Happendon, 20-30 mins drive through more twisites 5 - Return motorway blast from Happendon back to Showcase Cinema 20 mins Garry's huge URL shows the route on Multimap http://www.multimap.com/directions/?qs_1=colinslee+crescent%2C+glasgow&countryCode_1=GB&qs_2=Abington%2C+South+Lanarkshire%2C+Biggar%2C+Lanarkshire%2C+Scotland%2C+ML12+6&displayName_2=Abington%2C+South+Lanarkshire%2C+Biggar%2C+Lanarkshire%2C+Scotland%2C+ML12+6&lat_2=55.49204&lon_2=-3.69229&countryCode_2=GB&qs_3=sanquhar&countryCode_3=GB&qs_4=happendon%2C+scotland&countryCode_4=GB&qs_5=colinslee+crescent%2C+glasgow&countryCode_5=GB&mode=driving&optimizeFor=quickest&mapData=858#map=55.5392,-3.61286|10|4 Looking forward to seeing you all there, it should be a good day (keep your fingers crossed for good weather) If you need any further info or have any questions just drop me a PM.
