  1. Good stuff mate There's no snobbery on here mate. There are 'standard' mods that people suggest on here but if you don't like them, them **** em One thing i've never done, is conform. I had a yellow zed and put up with being called 'custard' for a year or so. Then I buy a bright orange car. If anything I love to not conform Again, the point is that its your car, do whatever you like to it. If I don't like it, who gives a toss? Nobody on here listens to me anyway +1 what's the point in modding if you only do what everyone else does.
  2. they are becoming more and more popular but wether you can retrospectivly (bad spelling i know) put them on older cars not designed for it is another matter. i have seen led reflectors with only 3 leds on and that would look a lot worse, but as yours are i don't mind them.

    cheap lip kits

101 mph is anothing. a 19 yr old lad in scotland just did 120 mph on a residential street. now that's cool (or not) did you get disco for 101 mph? that must'a hurt. . .
  4. i couldn't afford to live in macclesfield only joking of course. thought about led's in the reflector but chose against it as i think it may be an audi fad but they seem ok. the pics you took don't reflect when your driving around with a zed up your jaxy at night which is when you'd really notice them.
  5. unfortunately i think all 350's have the same meddling mary poppins ecu. even the new gtr is said to have the same type of ecu, which sticks its nose in where it shouldn't!
  6. it's a bit sad but i saw the zed when it was first advertised and thought 'one day i'll own one of them' and now i do, and i'm the same sad w***a i was then. my old cars were good in every sense but don't compare to the zed
  7. adam of z1 auto has a zed with only n/a mods that produces almost 310 whp i think.
  8. some may take offence to that, you don't have to be sick to f*ck a dog
  9. I thought the pop charger was around £95 and you don't get a heatshield - I'm not even sure if you get the duct work. Happy to be proved wrong though as I'm considering some kind of induction purchase... the JWT popcharger is a lot cheaper but considering that uprated intakes don't improve performance on the zed (damn the interfering ecu), i went purely for looks. the JWT has a bit of a heat shield but it doesn't look as substantial to me. http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Image:Jwt_popcharger.jpg other than the pipercross, i would've considered the HKS suction kit cos that looks the dogs http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Image:HK ... on_002.jpg

photoshop has it's uses. i think it's cheating when people have a car in a magazine that's photoshopped. the pics should be showing what the car actually looks like and not how good a computer can make it look. on the other hand, it can show pics you wouldn't normally see, and also gives you decent avatars and signatures which would otherwise be a bit boring you can also use photoshop to edit the bras off celebrities
  11. bet it costs more than £150 when you choose it as an optional extra from mitsubishi. . . if you did choose to get it make sure you post up pics.
  12. didn't know there was a choice and ended up with red. quite like it as planning a bit of black in the engine soon and it'll go well. wondor what other ideas i can steal from you. . .
  13. i think on the evo 400 it's a bit more integrated rather than stuck on, which is esentially what this is, or am i wrong? you're right though, don't think it suits the car at all.
  14. just got me a pipercross fitted after inspiration from lomoto. fitting was easy, although it did take me 4 hours because i'm useless. i did have a bit of a problem though, in that the air guidance duct to the standard airbox put pressure on the pipercross filter, and when i test drove it, it fell off. don't think it's best practice to drive around without any air filter!!! hoping there's no problems caused by this. . . here's the pipercross before i removed the air guidance duct after it fell off, i removed the air duct. had it on and drove a few miles, hammering it, and it's still on there. the sound is generally more aggressive but only really sounds more than stock when in 3rd gear and really pushing it. i'll post a soundclip if anyone can suggest how i'd do it here's the pipercross withoug the guidance air duct i've not shown the whole engine bay as it's filthy and not in a sexy way
  15. i noticed this earlier on today as well, as i was looking for a other carbon fibre stuff. personally don't like it, way too chavvy and could imagine it in halfrauds for about £9.99.
  16. very good looking new car. no offence but never understood why people bought them fiats, can't see the attraction. . .

  18. hondas are reliable but remember they don't usualy have to cope with 300bhp. i always thought that the more power a car has to handle, the more it will need maintaining and parts need replacing. i'm getting an aftermarket clutch fitted soon which is said to last longer than the stock ones. i'm looking at about £500 all in for it. it'd be interesting to see if you have to pay for yours replacing and how much nissan quote for it. keep us posted (and good luck with nissan)
  19. if you wanna be more like james bond and get away with speeding, a nancy flippy number plate is not quite as effective as: http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech ... t-launcher
  20. wonder what i'd get for a trade in. . . it looks a very good price as that car is valued at around £22000 on whatcar. i'd definatley check it out with RAC but could be a bargain
  21. most people just make lewd gestures at me i try to wave other zed owners as it might be people on here. so if you've seen someone waving frantically at you as you drive through manchester. . .sorry

  25. i'd love to achieve 25 mpg. . . usually end up with about 300 miles per tank before red light comes on and seem to average about 18 - 21 mpg
