  2. Just come back from almost exactly the same trip was awsome didnt make it to stelvio though and the frikin nurburg had a race on so couldnt do that either but the roads around nurburg are good fun. Hit 140mph on the autobahn in my lil 318
  3. was back in july 18th I think (havnt been able to get on here since then!) I flashed but I was in my car so they probably wondered why Also spotted silver coupe in Monaco on 15-16th july. Zazur?
  4. But theres a diffference between it coming from the factory like it and someone bodging it up them selves, plus people can tell there not M3's.
  5. Im sorry but how do you know that????????????!!!!!!!!!!! Youve seen my car? been in it? NO! And I havnt actually! Its an 'M' SPORT! hence you get all the little M bits with it, why dont you write to BMW and tell them? It comes with an M3 steering wheel, it comes with M badges on the wheels and gear stick etc!! I didnt stick them on, so well done on your informed statement.
  6. Going on a road trip in about 13 hours
  7. Whats that go to do with my comment. Im hardly going to get insured on an M3 am I
  8. I was going to buy a M3 prior to the Zed and I made my decision purely down to the place I live, you find alot of pretty well off people in Aberdeen and their brand of choice is the BMW, more precicely the M3, they are absoultly everywhere. If a (E46)M3 passes you on the street people tend not to even notice, however I still find folk staring at the zed as it goes by even though there are a few up here. Also I am finding that alot of the (E46)M3 drivers are young offshore workers (like myself) but tend to come from Subaru, dissapointed with the new STi they are turning to the M3's, so you see alot of young guys with beanie hats driving them which kind of destroys the exclusive image of the M brand.I have driven quite a few of them whilst I was in to remapping and they are VERY capable machines, but if you compare the whole experience, including servicing costs I recon the zed is a better all rounder. Don't get me wrong, my last car was a BM and I pined after the M3 something rotten, but unless someone was going to swap me a CSL or E92 varient I wouldn't have it. R +1! Which is what ruined the e36's also.
  9. True, true, we'd be doing all this syncro driving and stuff, get the truck to stop only to find that the keys were sent ahead in a different vehicle.... I thought that'd probably be the case... hmm we need somone on the inside
  10. Damn it!, if we'd got our sh*t together we could have pulled a fast and furious on that truck and 6 of us could have been very happy gentlemen or ladys indeed
  11. It was a really good day! was there on the sunday and after seeing the Z in the flesh I now love it! , I got a photo of the slogan ontop of the GTR and 370z "More balls than badge" . That Zonda was something else though! They managed to break it on their last run, saw it in the paddock as the brought it in, it has its own inbuilt hydraulic jack system! Crazy Italians neerly ripped the door off when they lifted it!
  12. I'm not giving any details of mine as I like to have a bit of mystery about me
  13. It does exist, theres an article on PH and saw one at Goodwood. Also after having now seen a 370 in the flesh I love it!! I cant believe how much they've upgraded the interior.
  14. Only problem with that is he'd have to wash it every time he parks up as you dont want to be putting a cover on a dirty car as it will scratch it
  15. Oops double post How come he's selling the GTR!?
  16. Looking good Red really does suit the GTR
  17. Like wise but make sure ur looking out for a grey e46 compact not a Z as its dads
  18. I know I was like.. there a tad different
