  6. BLACK RAYS ............................ http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=318768
  7. as mike says remove the brake light and you can get your hand down to do the rear indicators (cleans the rear up without the orange bulbs) the front sidelights just turn and pull out - came out easy (pain to get to tho), you are on about the front sidelights ? not the side indicators ? i changed the interior lights, number plate lights and sidelights to led, the front and rear indicators to chrome bulbs i havent done the main beam yet - i should have done them when i changed the front reflectors realy ! doh ! hth paul
  8. ebay - leds for the sidelights - white (blue are chavvy imo ) white leds do give off a blue tint i bought the 501 / W5W - White 4 LED for the sidelights and rear number plate lights http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12V-2Pcs-4-LED-Xe ... dZViewItem ----------------------------------------- iirc the ,main beam bulbs are H7 , i put a thread on here asking what people had fitted as they look yellow next to the xenon and............no one replied the best are piaa but they are about £40+ a set !! had them before and work really well --------------------------------------- interior - i got these leds , you need two http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-9-LED-Interio ... dZViewItem ---------------------------------- i changed the front and rear indicators to chrome just so you know what to buy not suggesting you use them same buyers although i had no probs with them
  9. Has anyone experienced squeaks and rattles coming from the dashboard? its very common, unfortunately for a multitude of reasons as pingu says its difficult to pin down when its at the rear of the dash if you can pinpoint it to trim then you can use draught excluder to cushion where trim contacts
  10. LEAVE THE BOOT BROKEN !!! that way she cant go shopping !
  11. The thing to remember is that not all paint protection film is Paintshield film. I also understand that Paintshield is just the UK (European) arm of the company (X-Pel) and as such wouldn't be the guys who did the work in NZ. I highly recommend Paintshield and would never buy a car without it (I have had two done now). it never gets warm enough in the uk to bake bugs

    Which wheels

you dont fancy some nismo wheels danny ? very light and an improvement on the standard set up, or are they not dished enough ? you can get them for a good price on ebay (new)
  13. not really the camber will only tell the angle of the wheel, you should be able to find out the offset of your wheels, its normally stated in the for sale info
  14. you've been sussed
  15. he's just had his aerial nicked ! he doesnt need you calling him names !
  16. there must be millions of "non stubby's" floating around peoples sock draws put an APB out in the wanted section for a n/a aerial (this is if you dont fancy a stubby ?) bloody low life !!! i hope they poke em selves in the eye wth it
  17. Clearance will depend on the offset of the wheel. What does offset mean again basically the offset will determine how your wheels "stick out" or dont, which in turn will affect how much they are likely to rub if you slam the car

    Which wheels

Ive heard that but apparently the new GT-R is rolling on 20's and the performance on that certainly has not been hindered yup the difference being that the car was prob developed to use 20's so the suspension steering etc is dialled in for it Ahh, so if you get 19's on the Z and change the whole set up of the car so that it will accomidate the wheels in motion, it could in theory perform as well as if it was on 18's? Would be pointless with how much money youd have to spend I know but its just so I understand hmm in theory.. yes but just consider the 10's of pounds that datsun spend on R&D with a new car !! testing and developing all the supension, chassis etc etc etc BUT their development is always a compromise between comfort and performance you COULD get it to perform much better but at the cost of comfort til they have only 40p left in the budget to do the interior

  20. have you checked for play on the wheel bearings and wheel nuts (may sound daft but it has been known) ? check the bushes on the suspension , the driveshaft is definitely a click not a clunk when does it clunk ? acceleration deceleration braking rough roads potholes
  21. I'll take one tomorrow nigel
  22. i did mine recently, changed them to clear reflectors (the 06-07 are different) its a pita that the front bumper has to come off but it isnt as bad as it looks once you've done it, i tried everything and there is absolutely no way you can access them without the bumper off its fairly straight forward the worst bolts are where it attachs to the wings
  23. Will he be Lianne when its finished??? I heard he wanted to get away from that and be called Rachel in a homer voice > " its funny cos its true "
