no mate , i didnt have to touch the strut bar at all, one bolt is under it but its easy enough to undo with an open ended 10mm and then lift it out with the cover the same for replacemant put the bolt in the cover and then offer it up to the engine if you put a light behind the weave you can see imperfections but on the engine it looks spot on £59 off ebay from jdm performance and no i havent bothered really cleaniong under there at this time of year - i'll wait for the summer now, i noticed the bonnet struts are trying to rust so i cleaned and coated those

TDI North are a sister company, kind of the same thing yes, but a smaller operation and specialising more in Honda's. Definitely one of those cars that certain colours suit it a LOT more than others! I don't think red is the best for it.... I think the problem I have with the looks is that it looks a bit Hyundai-ish and the bonnet/front wing lines remind me a bit too much of a Toyota Avensis. I think its lacking the aggressive, or even just sporty, look that I think it will need to appeal to European (in particular UK) buyers. +1 not keen - just a bit non descript for me - lacking character

sorry mate i dont understand, are you suggesting that when the ecu adapts to your mods you should reset it ? it learns very fast, well as soon as the car is warm and the info is fed to it, it only runs in open loop when cold iirc all the usa sites advice a remap or reflash or piggy back ecu such as a utec

yes they are permanent not just til the ecu dials them out as are the other mods, why i cant explain but everyone reports the gain it doesnt make sense to me tbh

welcome to the site andy the gt or non gt has been discussed on here many many times, you will not get an unbiased opinion gt owners advice gt pack non gt etc read some posts and make your own mind up is my advice

air filter and exhaust are just for noise really the plenum is about the only thing people report gains with and that is more mid range grunt i dont know if this is purely due to it moving the torque curve or real gains ? i havent seen maps from before and after
