  2. i wish i could have foreseen the demise of the british empire, spiralling into a recession i have probably lost 5k in the last 12 months on the zed just the economy not because its a zed, everything has lost out, which has further depreciated due to panic selling forcing prices down down down

  6. this is the paddle shift ? my bro in law had a convertible m3 for a while after his 911 and he got fed up with it, said the novelty wore off and he missed the manual and it took away the fun of driving, i borrowed it for a while and i loved the way it revved in between the down shifts to match the engine speed to the gear, like on a bike he had it 6 months, no problems with it though and he murdered it everywhere
  7. lookin hard as nails mate B) I got that engine cover off chris @ jdm, good fast service, i've used envy before and spoke to kev (top bloke) he actually talked me out of buying something, good honest advice

  10. when i have been stopped in the past, i have been fined £30 and told to get it changed as it will be reported to the dvla, if the dvla get too many reports they will take the plate off you but the copper said he has never known this to happen he said it was because if someone had a "difficult" to read number plate then they could leave the scene of an accident without anyone getting the number plate
  11. Carbon bits are Water Transfer Printing onto the stock plastic covers. Silver lead covers are the 5zigen Pro Racer Harness (Grounding Kit) But I do know if somewhere you can get some to go over the spills kit.... You may get an additional pressie when the package is winging its way if you want Mark i think he means the coiled silver cable covers not the gounding kit

  16. 2004 - 24500 miles, full dealer history.. No problems with bumps, just clutch.. then you can rasonably assume it's not the mounts, etc. If I had to wager a guess, given the year of the car, I would think a faulty throw out bearing. Quite common. While in there, check the obvious things such as clutch disk condition, pressure plate fingers (to make sure they are all even and one/some have not collapsed) as well as torque on the flywheel bolts unlikely to be the mounts as these are usually noticable on deceleration aswell as acceleration, but i dont understand why the clutch would only cause a prob in 1st and 2nd ? unless its driving more and momentum helps in the higher gears very difficult to diagnose a noise via the net though
