When I had my M3 there were lots of discussions on the M3 Forum as to whether or not you should run it on Optimax as it was then, or standard supermarket, some swore they could tell the difference but to be honest i couldn't tell any difference at all and run it on the latter, although I have only used 'super' unleaded in the Zed up to now.

Well done, enjoy!
-
Thanks for the replies and links, would seem that Halfords would be the path to go down, as someone said it looks good on the darker cars has anyone done it on a Ultra Yellow Zed and wish they hadn't, which leads me on to ask how easy is it to remove should you wish to?
Cheers Mick
This time tomorrow it will be all mine, mine I tell you.......

O/S DOOR FOIL 1 £8.84
O/S SCRAPER MOULDING 1 £122.00
From a quote I saw recently, don't include labour or painting but is somewhat a lot cheaper than what you have been quoted and they are gen Nissan parts!

many thanks to you both for your replies, sounds like the peg is in position at build.
Cheers Mick
-
Retaining peg that is situated under the drivers seat and stops the drivers overmat sliding around, can anyone tell me is that already fitted when built or does it come with the overmats? if the latter how is it fitted?
Cheers Mick

.. do you get that 'rattle' when you turn the engine off too ??

Mine is the same, as is the one I test drove and bought this afternoon.

I bought a Pipercross sports filter to fit into my GT, which arrived today, but today I bought a GT4, with it's slight increase in power over the GT would it still be worth me fitting this filter or could it cause any harm, any advice would be appreciated.
TIA

Sounds like a good deal mate! Was it the car from Camden Northampton? If so, I had a look at it a few weeks ago when I popped in for some brochures and it looked . I'm surprised at the deal because I've heard nothing but bad news regarding this dealer but I hope it works out for you! At least if you have any warranty troubles I guess you'll be dealing with the garage in Spon End, which is supposed to be OK according to my dad who got his NOTE from there.
Yes it was Camden's, I found them very easy to deal with and very friendly and as you quite rightly say it would be Spon End dealership for any warranty problems, who have been ok up to now not brilliant but ok!

May have seen my link about a GT4 (#3) I was watching, have bought it and pick it up next Friday , didn't get a great deal off it, 2 new rear tyres, about £500 off and a tank of petrol but to be honest they gave me a good trade in on mine £20500 which I thought was very good considering my local dealer offered me £18K against a new one. The plate on it is apparently worth a £1K.
Is it my imagination but is the ride slightly softer and the exhaust a little bit quieter than the std GT or maybe it was because I was only tootling along

Going to have a look at it tomorrow, already offered me a 'ballpark' £20k over the phone for mine and says there could be some movement their end, told them I want tax and more warranty but we will see, quite pleased to see that there is no change in the insurance.... btw keep yer 'ands off it I want it

-I would put a bet that car belonged to NMGB
3rd GT4 out of 176... ( adds a bit of value? maybe?)
-Camden I think is the company that deals with all the ex-company cars from Nissan...
-Maybe the demonstrator, press car... (maybe ragged, but probably highly maintained... hence the expectation on the price)
Go on ... someone call them and ask who the previous owner was....?
just spoken to them, no it's a privately owned car and has a good registration on it.

Just an update, just had the screen replaced by Autoglass, had to go to their local depot due to weather, can only say how professional they were and a good job done, I asked what it would have cost me had I been paying, £374.67 all in, fitted and took about 70 minutes to do.

Had a similar thing happen on Tuesday on the M25 between J17\18, one of those traffic officers did a rolling roadblock and then brought us to a halt as a Fiat Tipo had broken down in the outside lane, car in front of me did nothing more than pull across to the hard shoulder and then speed off down that, I don't know if they got his number....
