Yep, XZ on the fronts and KZ on the rears, going to give 'em a bit of time to bed in so to speak.

well what can i say to that, that is a bargain, well im watching a couple on ebay, ill let you know if not, thanks dude !
I'd be very surprised if the ones on ebay go for less than this AND you helping out a fellow member!
I'll second that! it's a bargain at £70 I followed some on Ebay but got outbid everytime, bought one from Holdcrofts in the end at just over a £100

Just another thing to check on a used car , make sure it's got the locking wheel nut key
And a complete set of keys, 2 remotes & valet key, cost me £110 for another key!

The GT4 is the zippiest 350Z Nissan has yet sold in the UK. The award winning 3.5-litre V6 motor gets revised pistons and camshaft as well as electronic exhaust valve timing control. This helps produce another 20PS to give 300P
Bit of blurb from the spec, but what does this valve control thingy actually do?

Is there any known issue regarding the rear suspension as i posted before about when test driving the car it seemed to 'float' a little at the rear and it seems to crash and bang more so that my other one especially on the rear nearside, but when I load that side up cornering hard it seems fine, I have done the 'bounce' check and the shocks seem ok, have measured the ride height and that's within limits so should rule out a spring problem, or is it down to these bloddy Bridgestones and our crap roads!?
Just a follow up, put some high density foam under the spare wheel and tightened the retainer up good and tight and that seems to have stopped the crashing and banging.

Nice dude, should catch up with you when i am in coventry some time
When you are up here you don't seem to be too far away from my location, I'm away from Friday night for a week down Kent but won't be in Zed unfortunately as I'm nipping over to France for some duty free so need to use the 407 Coupe, but no doubt we will catch up!
BTW all you Ultra Yellow owners, did you get a can of flyspray thrown in with the car?

Great plate
On it when I bought it, but there are some on the DVLA Cherished plate which are either side of it for £799 and 0007GTZ which was up for £1999

Seconded.
Check pressures and get a few miles on them before making a judgement
Both rears & f\n\s were 5 psi down only the front o\s was ok, this is a bit annoying when the 'technician' ho! ho! has took the trouble to write in the tyre pressures on the P2 service sheet which incidently all read 35psi, think that I had better make sure the wheelnuts are done up as well!
-
I would say it's not original
-
Have you checked the pressures? Don't trust a Nissan dealer to get that right.
No, but I will now!

Just been watching a DVD I got from Ebay, short promotional film of the 350Z been driven quite fast through the streets of Prague, he has a few left if interested, only a couple of quid!

Thanks for the replies, yes they are 'brand new' and the fronts have a good 5mm min left, yes will take heed of taking it easy for awhile till 'bedded' in.
Cheers Mick

Picked my GT4 up yesterday, I had mentioned on a previous post that when I tested it a week ago I thought the ride seemed 'softer' than my GT I had at the time, but it did need 2 rear tyres, new Bridgestones have been fitted prior to me picking the GT4 up yesterday, I find that the ride does still seem 'softer' still and also I notice that the back end seems easily unsettled in fact quite 'skittish' when going over rough road surfaces and tramlines a lot something which the other car didn't (that had another make of tyre on) also the 'traction' control kicks in when going through a series of bends I like which the other didn't, now I have read comments on Bridgestones not being the best tyre for this car and also the rears are brand new and not really 'run' in yet, or is it possible that my GT had had the suspension 'tweaked' at some time as there is a marked difference in ride between the 2 cars.
Any suggestions\thoughts\opinions welcome.
TIA
Mick

I'm off in the next 20 mins to pick up my new baby (GT4) so if in the area look out for a Black GT going southbound M6\M1\A45\A43 and a Yellow 'un coming back!

I feel for you mate!, had my BMW keyed twice (when I had it) and more recently my 407 Coupe, they keyed the back and front wing, ChipsAway did a good job cost £188 inc VAT.

Worst section of motorway I have found is the M1 northbound between Milton Keynes and Watford Gap for the outside lane hoggers, do what i do use the inside lane it's generally clear!
Yeah I do, but technically that illegal.....
Unless you time it right so that you are doing the same speed as them (slightly more) just as you see they are going to slow down. Then technically you are not undertaking, just that their lane has slowed.......
Exactly!
That's it I'm off for a weeks break!

So if you see someone in a black 407 Coupe giving a flash or wave it's me , wish I was going in my GT4 but I need the space on this trip so have a good break and make the most of it, I'm up for a few beers ( a good few) and maybe some sea fishing.
See you in a weeks time :bye:
