  1. Middlesbrough Ahh ok, i was going to see if you were close to Oxford as my Dad's local bodyshop would probably do that for £100 for you £100 Wish i did live near there Wish my dad owned one right now, would be a free job You have a gun metal grey one dont you? We'll swop plates and ya dad wont know and i will be free HAHA. Thanks away m8 you had to mention it didnt you he has sold his Z and has been having therapy ever since, you've set him back 6 months now He He....she's mine now . Ayesha has just had her first MOT the other day and sailed through it with advisories on three of my tyres. I guess I'd better start looking for some new rubber. I think they are the original tyres and have just gone through the 20k mark, although 18k of them were put on by Louis. Craig.
  2. Paul, I've never done this but it looks mighty impressive. Don't worry about the dodgy captions though. It's got to be worth a go!! CLICKY
  3. I thought I'd explain that by interior, I mean the area where the kickplates are. Are they behind the door seals or in front?
  4. Surely it has to be the seals. I can't see how you would get water ingress into the interior without the seals being shot. Does it happen on both sides?
  5. Nope, never happened to me on my old Zed or my current one. I hate it when they say "They all do that sir!"
  6. Doh!!!! Maybe I should have read the thread below first!! It looks like I've done what Rob did. Bloody Nissan...why have two non-related indistinguishable orange wires in such close proximity? Clicky
  7. Has anybody got or know where there is a wiring diagram for the steering wheel controls for the Zed? I have just fitted a PAC SWI JACK interface to allow control of my new JVC DVD player. The only problem is that the interface is not reading the down controls on either of the two steering wheel toggle switches. It reads volume up and preset up but not volume down or preset down. I have definitely fitted it right including the right resistors in the right place, ie 150 ohm to Red / Grn and 47 ohm to Orange. My only slight lead is that there is two orange wires on the steering wheel control and I just guessed which one to go for due to its proximity to the Red / Grn wire. It is probably that but I would like to, if possible, see a wiring diagram beforehand just to confirm before cutting anymore wires. Cheers, Craig.
  8. how the heck did you manage that You can get that figure if you reset your clocks driving moderately on the motorway. I once got 50+ MPG to show up on the clocks for a few minutes before it all evens out. Craig. Busted! I'd hit roadworks on the motorway having reset the clocks about 10 minutes earlier so I was ambling along at 50 in 6th. I took the picture so I could show it to all my non-zed-owning friends who harp on about my impractical gas guzzler! Sorry, I couldn't resist outing you!! Its still an impressive photo to those not in the know!!

  10. Will be quite apt when they get relegated
  11. It's worth sticking with if you can. I've read 30 pages now having followed it for the last few days however the traffic is making it difficult to follow at the moment. I'm still not telling you what happens though
  12. Yeah, the sheer volume of traffic has crashed the site. I think every car forum in ther UK had got a link to it as well as computer forums. Its even got links to car forums in the states. Keep trying, its worth a read. The guy keeps maintaining his innocence despite the overwhelming evidence against him.
  13. I've done a quick search and can't find this on here but I came across this, now, legendary thread via Scoobynet. It seems the whole car community is giving this guy grief. Warning - it is a long read!! Clicky
  14. I think it may have the edge. My previous one only had 5,000 miles on the clock when I sold it so I think the engine was still a bit tight. Combine the looser engine with the non GT pack (less kgs to lug around) and it feels quicker. Although, it may be psychological, especially with the Typhoon intake .
  15. I'm the same. The car definitely feels quicker once all that weight has burned away. It would be a shame not to take advantage of a temporary "lightweight" Zed!!
  16. Stevie G the Thug more like!! How he didn't get sent off for whacking the Feyenoord player, Theo Lucius, I'll never know. You don't see such thuggery at Goodison Park.
  17. Actually, It really wasn't worth the effort. The picture quality has degraded significantly because of infinite shrinkings.
  18. If thats the case it should have worked first time.
  19. Trust technology to make me look a fool. . I played with the site for about 30 mins trying to get it to work and then it decided to work just as I post a thread asking for help.
  20. Oh bugger!!!! Please ignore my obviously premature thread.
  21. Is there something wrong with the site as it doesn't seem to want to accept my signature. I have inserted the sig location as below. The gaps are removed for the real insert. I also have a little bit of text but neither is shown on my posts. I have updated / submitted the correct way as well. I have read the help forum so I'm sure I'm doing it right. Any ideas?? Craig.
  22. Toatally agree. I've had loads of sets nicked from previous Impreza's. Now I just have black plastic ones. They are just too nickable to kids. I've never been tempted to use anti-theft ones either as kids might borrow dads tools to remove them!!

    Brembos????

PM Bigphil for Ebc Redsuff pads. £99 inc delivery for a full set front and rear.
  24. I love the Zed apart from its lardy weight. If this car could be 200-250kg lighter then the relative performance increase would be amazing.
