The increase is a result of reducing the intake restrictions, changing the intake runner lenghths and increasing the volume of the plenum - not by changing the a/f ratio or spak advance, although fine tuning of these will be beneficial Now that makes sense, so the claims that cosworth make is that with a tuned engine or oem?

There is quite a back log of people waiting to buy them. I guess they either like the look of them or trust that Cosworth know what they are doing. We have the official Cosworth internal evaluation data which shows the improvement over standard and over a spacer kit, but we will conduct our own testing too. Isnt it the case that there will be no gains anyway as the ecu will rectify any gains back to normal anyway, and then even if you do flash the ecu, its self learning anyway, so there wont be any gains unless the ecu is managaed by a ecu upgrade or retuned by the likes of an fcon IS? So the space wont create any gains nor would a cosworth plenum?

Hi, some came in last December but were immediately sent out to customers so we didn't get a chance to do any testing. There is quite a big waiting list for them but the next one on the list is being fitted and tested here so I'll let you know the results. We haven't seen any plenum spacer kits that actually work yet, so it'll be quite interesting. What do you mean by work? As in peak power, area under the curve. Are you saying that the plenum kits you've tested have made a loss? Which ones have you tested? Im sure the Cosworth will make more than the spacers it looks like a decent bit of kit, but just want to know the facts. We haven't seen any plenum spacers that work at all yet - ie yield any power or torque increase. I'm not sure whether any have actually lost power. We have not undertaken deliberate testing on every single spacer kit available. We have have only done testing whereby clients have provided the kits themselves and asked us to install and test them. absolutely stunning mate IMO get rid of the nismo sticker on the bonnet too big me thinks and tacky, the car is gorgeous as is the wheels

Sorry mate, don't agree!! A thief is a thief....imo they should get him in the back of a police van and give him a good kicking. Bit of down to earth street justice is what this country needs. No doubt he got away with a telling off and a rather sought after ASBO or some nonsense like that. Well actually they found out that their information on the system was incorrect, the car did belong to the kid, and that at the petrol station survellance you actually see the kid giving full information about himself where he states that he told the guy he will get money and go back to pay. The information he gave was correct to. But the police didnt apologise and the guy at the station said he called the police just to update on the siituation should the kid not turn out to be who he is. I also know when I was asked for a producer, routine check, the police guy told me that he would compound by car as according to his records I had no insurance and no license to drive, later this was blown over as they had the wrong information. He was really rude to me and I never got an apology.. But dispite all of this I also know of police who have pulled me over and have been very fair and polite to. just depends who you get, but god help any police who lay their fingers on me without any reason than just to push their weight around

I watched something on TV the otherday where police were working on the motorway and pulled some kid from the car cos he didnt pay for petrol and they thought the car was stolen. The police proper man handled him I thought, and the kid was not threatening him in the slightest, I thought to myself if that was me the police would find himself head first in his front windscreen and ill just say self defence
