we used a shovel to pile up and compact the bottom bit then found some massive chunks of ice that had dropped out of the car wheel arches and used them as a base to roll into snow balls because it was very powdery.

As I tip toed my way to work in a borrowed front wheel drive car, i felt so humbled when I saw a GM zed on the slushy roundabout at Rawcliffe Park and Ride York. Reg 666 something. I know Zednick666 has that in his reg on a GM so wondered if it was him? Very brave anyway in those conditions!
