  1. Did the reflectors need remving to get them wrapped? I've done the roof & pillars but like the look of the reflectors Cheers Phil
  2. Sorry for not getting the pics to you, I've been working away all week and the car has been at home, if the weather gets better this weekend I'll get you some pics
  3. I've been watching this thread with interest, I'm in no way associated with the company, but can say from previous experience in dealing with them they were honest an proffessional throughout. I was tempted to order some discs aswell, but as others have said, it was a bit of a long shot. Its good to see them come on here to put the record straight as it were. I wouldnt hesitate from going down to their warehouse to purchase goods or using their ebay shop again. and as has been mentioned before, the old saying goes, if something looks too good to be true, then it usually is would love to have seen the look on their faces though when thye'd sold 1000'ss of discs
  4. no problem, I'll take some tomorrow if the weather stays decent. The front is a complete bumper and not a lip, although I should image you could get a lip from somewhere. I was going to buy some rota gtr's or even have the rays done in anthracite as a cheaper option, but seeing as I've just bought a van for work and I'm wanting to go to SE asia in the new year, the wheels will have to wait for now.
  5. Ive had the pillars and roof done.
  6. parked just up from the slug pub last night, nice carbon spoiler & black rays
  7. Another thanks for a great guide. I've now successfully sorted out my passenger window. The only thing I'd add to anyone who's going to do this is before you remove the glass, it mite be a good idea to draw around the securing bolts that hold it in place so it will go back in the right position, cos it really is a pain to get it straight again. Apart from that, this is the best guide I've found and worked perfectly, extreme thanks to the OP for taking the time to put all this together Cheers Phil
  8. As mentioned before, I got the stuff from liquid leather website. I'm really pleased with the results and it's so easy to do if take your time & dint need to use the car for a week
  9. Well my seats werent great, they were dirty, cracked and looking a little worse for wear. Id read on here about gliptone, so I ordered the cleaner, dye, conditioner, gloss finisher and set to work. I did about an hour every night for just over a week and the results, to me anyway, are outstanding. So if your seats are looking worn and you dont want to spend hundreds on a proffessional job, then I can highly recommend the treatments I've used.. Anyway, heres the before and after pics
  10. not sure if you're on here, but you're parked in my street now. Morley, Leeds
  11. Without moving the Audi to move the van to get the zed out of the garage I'll try describe as easy as possible. I removed the plug from the accelerator and easily plugged the plug from the supplied loom back to the pedal, the problem I had was attaching it to the plug that is part if the car loom. It would only plugin one way, but would not connect properly as there were 2 or 3 lugs on the supplied loom which had no where to go, so I removed them with a sharp blade, this would enable it to go a little further but not enough to make a contact. After spending some time looking at your loom & the loom of the car I decided to remove all the White plastic, particularly the "H" shaped part in the middle of the D1 spec plug. After a bit of wiggling, swearing and pushing, it eventually went into place. It still did not however feel very secure, so I've enforced it with a couple of very tight cable ties. I'll get the car out again tomorrow & try take a couple of pictures which I'll send you along with the vin number, Hope this makes sense Cheers Phil
  12. Sorry if thats how it seems Alex, but it wasnt intended. I've been very happy with the purchases Ive had from you, hence writing supplier and not giving your name. I did think this was a plug & play item though and wouldnt involve me having to cut up connectors to enable it to fit However, just so you know, the plug that comes with the unit really does not fit, no matter which way round its plugged. I had to take 2 small lugs off the plug & also a large amount of white plastic from within the plug to enable it to fit. It all working now, so no harm done, but it mite give you a heads up if anyone else pm's you about fitting details, I shouldve taken photos really. Cheers Phil
  13. black 04 plate on the ring road near Wortley. I was in the sunset GT with the nismo kit
  14. Well it's installed and I'm happy now. Just for this who end up getting one, even though the plug says it's for a 350z, it dosnt fit and after asking the supplier for help the response was basically, tough, that's what you get with a diy install big help. hmmm. Anyway, after a bit of cocking about and cutting the connector it's now working and I didn't need to give it a live feed or connect up any of the other 2 wires
  15. Thanks for the reply. I don't think the wireing couldve changed that much as from what you said it does seem pretty straight forward and similar to the unit that I have. The only worry I've got is that there 3 extra wires, one which needs a permanent feed for a memory setting, which shouldn't be too difficult to do providing I can find a permanent 12 volt supply, then theres the 2 other wires, one for the speed sensor and one for a brake sensor. Hopefully I can just connect everything else up and disregard these two, but it'd be nice to know it won't cause any problems before I go out and start the install
  16. Ive just recieved my D1 Spec Throttle Controller (Thanks Alex) and after reading the instructions, theres a few things I'd like a bit of advice with. I understand that theres a connection for the throttle switch under the pedal, and a connection to the OBD socket The questions are: Theres a yellow wire that I believe is to be connected to a permenant live for a memory setting, Is that correct & if so, wheres the best place to get a permenant live feed from. Theres also wires to go to the speed and brake sensors. Are these really necessary? it seems to me that its for some speed warning system or something, what have you done with them? and a silly question, but where is the OBD socket on the 350Z. Lastly, does anyone have any pics of where theyve installed the control unit. I'll be out first thing in the morning to fit it Cheers Phil
  17. Guess Im being a little nieve, I didnt realise there were 2 versions. Anyone know the difference? its to fit to a UK 04 GT if that makes a difference Ive tried the for sale section, they've all gone Cheers Phil
  18. As title, new or used. post your best prices please
  19. ok, well let me know asap as i can send funds via paypal straight away
  20. How easy are these to fit? Is it a DIY novice job and do you have instructions? If so & itll fit on an 04 UK GT then I'll take it Cheers Phil
  21. I'll take a pair of them mate if you dont mind splitting the sale. Where in west yorks are you, I'm in Leeds so could collect if youre not too far
  22. No mate, not tried any traders yet, would be surprised if they could beat the price. Im up in Leeds & RS tuning said they'll fit it for free when I book in for an uprev, so looks like it'll be hard to beat
  23. Has anyone ordered one of these thermal plenum spacers from the US ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOTORDYNE-PLENUM- ... 2c586f72d6 It seems a really good price, but unsure if its the right fit for a UK car
