  1. I'd be very surprised if you didn't see me. We were traveling together from Northampton until I turned of onto the M25. Beautiful car mate, makes me think about chopping mine in for that bonnet bulge and a colour change. I was in the very noisy ginger with a V1 Nismo kit & carbon roof
  2. Haha, the best boy is 2nd in command of the electricians. The gaffer is the head electrician
  3. I'm a freelance key grip & work in film & tv production for various media company's, BBC, ITV,HBO Etc. I'm basically in charge of camera mounts, tracking, support and stability. Anything from simply building & operating camera cranes to mounting cameras on cars, buildings, cliff sides, helicopters, boats etc
  4. I'm going to get my rays refurbed next week. I've found the colour I want (Audi black chrome) but I can't find a colour code. I know it's a bit of a long shot but can anyone help Here's a link to the wheel colour http://audisrs.com/archive/alloy-wheel- ... 25834.html Cheers Phil

    Roof revival

I had my roof wrapped in a carbon fibre vinyl last summer by a reputable company who were working out of donnington park last year. The problem I have now is that after less than a year it's looking very tired and faded. It's very patchy when cleaned and dosnt look as good as it should. Can anyone recommend a good solution to bring it back to its origional deep black colour Cheers Phil
  10. Seen your loads of times if its the silver one behind the gates. I've been staying & working down here since September but always used the van, but I've got to use the car this week. Glad you like it, wouldn't mind having a look at yours at some point, I'm always on the look out for inspiration Cheers Phil
  11. Chilli red with private plate SWAG not far from shoreditch about 9pm ( don't know the exact area as I was just working there and on my way back to Leeds ) Nice car, but damn, did it need a good clean
  12. Im trying to find a double din fascia for a 2004 350z to enable me to fit a pioneer avh-p3100dvd. I've looked all over the sextons site and haven't had any luck as yet. Does anyone know where I can get one from? Cheers Phil
  13. Well it seems that after going through all the instructions again and trying to re wire and reconnect all the chopped up wires that it's a hopeless cause. There's an earth missing, 2 of the speakers have had there wires cut so short that it's impossible to reconnect them and the RCA cables are missing completely, not happy. So I've had to re order a loom from sections and a steering wheel control module, hopefully I've ordered the right ones and it should be just a matter of plug and play next weekend. I guess you buy second hand and you take that risk.does anyone know if there's a Bluetooth module available for this unit or where I could get one. As I'm pretty sure that I'll be making the 350z hands free kit useless now Thanks again Phil
  14. I had a look at that guide and it explained a lot. Everything is working on the unit and the steering wheel controls all work, but still no sound. I'll double check the earths but as its a 2nd hand loom its difficult to know what and why the wires have been chopped up, I didn't realise this would be the case when I bought it
  15. I purchased the above unit of a member on here and am struggling to get any sound from it. I've basically plugged everything up including the steering wheel control adapter, reattached a couple of cables that were chopped and disconnected by the previous owner, but there's no sound at all. I've checked all the fuses and made sure it's earthed and that the power supply to the Bose amps are live, which they seem to be but Theresa still no sound. I really need help with this, can anyone give me any advice, or better still, is there any ICE gurus in Leeds who could give me a hand Cheers Phil
  16. I'm thinking of possibly giving a new look to my zed & as I'm working away at the moment, then going on holiday for a month, I've got between now and the end of may to do the change over. I've not decided which kit to get yet, although there's a couPle I really like, my brother in law has his own body shop, so fitting, painting isn't a problem either. At the moment my car has the full nismo (N1) kit fitted and I was wondering, if I was to sell the kit as a whole what would it be worth? Everything is in great condition aPart from a small crack & a chip on the corner of the front bumper, which I could get repaired
  17. Haha, yeh they would mate, but you've already had some of my hard earned Must resist....... Must resist.......must resist
  18. When this is connected up, does it use the Bose amps for the speakers and sub or do you need to use separate amps?
  19. I had some very similar to the ones you have. Last year for the MOT I had to replace 2 front tyres and the wheel nuts split. I had to drill them off causing slight damage to the wheels and wrecking the spacers. I've since rep, aced the spacers on the front wheels and put the standard nuts back on, I've not changed the rears yet, but new tyres are due very soon & I'm worried I'll have the same problem. Just so it's clear... The wheel nuts I have are not from rare rims, but they are very similar if not the same
  20. Stunning wheels, been looking at getting some new shoes for the zed for a while, but the other half would cut my balls off if I spent that much on a set
  21. When I first joined this site and had my first Zed, there used to be a scaled plan of how to make your own. I did it with great success, but have been looking for the plan ever since I got my 2nd Zed and its nowhere to be found
  22. I did mine earlier this year, have a look, great results from the gliptone kit viewtopic.php?f=53&t=53240
  23. Went to work in my van, no aircon, was filming in a building with windows shut, 1.2k, 2k & 2.5k lights every where and all the windows shut, I'll be doing the same today while the zed is tucked up in the garage at home. Luckily I've got the whole weekend off, so if it stays nice it'll be a good drive out then home for a BBQ and lots of lager î‰
