Good advice from Phil there.
There should be a model report for both Z's, coupe and roadster, by now. I assume you are referring to the 07 Z. I remember someone had to get a report done for an 07 before.

I have a crazy idea, buy some aftermarket Volks, Works, rotas, £100 halford chrome jobbies if your bored of seeing the same wheels.
There is plenty of choice out there if you step away from the nismo
Unfortunately aftermarket wheels and aftermarket bodykits tend to devalue your car. Thats why nismo is a safe bet.
I know when I was was looking for my Zed I totally disregarded a few good cars cos they had veilside version chav kits on them.
I didnt mind nismo upgrades as they are oem.
The LMGT4s are probably what I will go with. Everyone loves to jump in and say how shite they think stuff is when its only their opinion.
In my opinion every set of volks are sh*te and putting a carbon b pillar on your car is a sure fire way of saying I am a chav. Also anyone who lists a Z boot mat, Z floor mats and a luggage net as a mod is a n*b and anyone who buys a yellow car has a small c*ck
I agree about bodykits. I hate every single one apart from the Nismo kit
Disagree about the wheels though, there are some beauts out there apart from Nismo's, if your worried about resale then keep your standards to put back on when you sell
I agree with both of you on most of that but even the Nismo kit I find a little off putting. Rear wing looks out of place and the spats look cheap.

So why do you think the nismo alloys are nasty. They are pretty much exactly the same as yours with a line indent in the spoke.
Are you that fussy?
Is the line all you see?
I think Sarnie response to the pic has summed up the visual impact of the GT4s nicely.

Nasty looking wheels. Nasty looking car.
If you dont like these wheels, then you dont like the GT4 special editions and the Rays V2 track wheels also. They are more or less the same.
Is that the case?
Nope. I have the GT4s on my Z and would never change them. We get them as standard here. My last Z had the rays that you get in the UK. The only thing that stopped me from chaging them was changing the car instead.

My biggest problem with 5th gear is the presenters. Keep Tiff. Ditch the rest.
Quality of interior on the Z really did get better with the 06 facelift.
You forgot the dire script, Guy!
Yea, forgot that. I don't get channel 5 here so it's just Dave that I see them on. Not for long mind you. I tend to change channel when I stumble across an episode unless it's Tiff giggling when some car twitches round a corner as he's trying to say something serious. VBH, Quintan and the fat bloke irritate me as soon as they speak.

Which one is Wheeler Dealer? Is that one of the shows the fat git does or is it the one where they take right offs and put them back on the road?

This is basically the same as paintshield or ventura only coloured instead of clear.
I'd do this in a heart beat if I could get the blackboard colour that Brabus have been using of late.
-
Don't get me wrong it does come up brilliantly and for the first few days it seems perfect if touched. Then it seems to soften. Was the same at the British motor show. Cars looked great but if touched they smudged. Oily sweaty hands didn't help after the GT5 racing on the Nissan stand but the colour of the Alfas demands that you touch them.

I've never been totally happy with the finish from P21S so I've just got some new products to try. Will do all 3 side by side on one door. They'll probably all look the same in the end. P21S seems to remain smudgy long after it's applied. When it rains the water beads up nicely but doesn't flow off the car when stationary. Maybe it's not meant to. End up with water spots like pox on my black Z. Unwaxed cars don’t seem to have this problem.
Will be testing:
P21S
Dodo Supernatural - Seriously expensive stuff
Dodo Purple haze
Hope to do this on Sat or Sun regardless of weather.

Why has it got a new engine?
I believe its not unusual for Boxsters, they have engine issues. It was done under warranty. No ongoing issues though.
That's cool. If you can afford it go for it. Can you live with the look of it? I couldn't.

Good write-up, but the price compared to what we in Britain are going to have to pay is sickening
The price is Britain is sickening. Imports are now at €135k here. 36% VRT after VAT is applied. €2000 a year in road tax.
Was in London last weekend and I couldn't believe how cheap it was. Beer, taxis, food - all cheap compared to Dublin.
On the plus side I saw an AMG Black. Very nice.
And Porsches were as common as Golfs are here.

Nice wheels.
Knew Sarnie would spot the nismo sticker

Over here Nissan call it Black

If you work in IT you'll find this very funny. May not be work safe depending on who you work with.

I think somebody’s having a laugh. I’ve found another pic which shows the rear and is reportedly the hardtop folding roof new Z4 but this pic and the one posted by Mike are not the same. The lines are not the same and dimensions look completely different.

I don't mind it, it's better than PGR4
Didn't enjoy that much either. I'm a GT fan.

Well, I wasn’t going to the British show as I thought Geneva was enough for one year but I just got a call from a PR company representing Sony and Polyphony inviting me as a finalist in the GT Academy to take part in the national finals at the show on Aug 1st. Hotel and all paid for plus a guest. Never been to the British show. Should be fun.

That's the first game I've ever returned. Brought it back within 24hrs and could only get about 50% of the original price.

Short answer - she's fat.
Long answer get the tape measure out.
According to nissan.co.uk she's 1815mm but there's no mention of mirrors. It does however describe it as overall width.

When I was in London the other day I saw a number of Saudi registered cars including a white Murciélago and AMG Black (in red).
And more Porsches then I ever want to see in my life again.
On topic: If I had their cash I'd fly various cars with me as I travelled like luggage.
