if you lower it too far the clevis pin binds on the pedal

just found this, could be the clevis pin, and the ASCD switch

forgot to mention I adjusted the pedal height, using this guide..

it's a brand new clutch and fly wheel, the pedal seems to be binding on something

The clutch pedal is not returning to the top of it's travel, and is sticking about half way down, I have to manually move it by getting my foot underneath the pedal and pull it up,

anybody know what the problem is?.

Hoping to do the Sunday drive only, so could you put me down as a maybe.

Thanks, I've had it back today, and they've lowered the pedal, no air in the clutch line, so the guy said, and dismissed that idea,so I could be reading too much into this thing.

I would first take it back to the place you had the clutch installed and have them professionally adjust it (free) before attempting anything yourself.

I'm taking it back to the garage to have the pedal lowered, but that wont change the actual biting point will it?, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm finding hard to get used to the biting point as it is, but maybe that's how a new clutch is supposed to be like.

I've recently had a new clutch & flywheel fitted,and the biting point is just off the floor, is this normal for a new clutch, and will it gradually go higher up the as the clutch gets older?

gonna get the garage to take a look at this guide, as they fitted a new clutch last week and the clutch pedal is a lot higher than it was with old clutch, also noticed, now the biting point is very low (2 inch off the floor) with the new clutch, is this normal?

No, its not floppy, it's that you have to press it a fair way down before there's any resistance
