  1. Hi Guys.

The windscreen washer motor is working, but there's no water coming out of the jets, the rear washer and the headlight washers work OK.

I've had the car in the bodyshop for a front bumper re-spray, maybe they've dislodged the washer tube in some way?,( I can't think of anything else it could be) is it easy to get to the area where the motor is located.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. @ this moment, I have this on hire, till my Z gets repaired (brand spanking new with 76 miles on the clock)

What do you think of it mate? How is it to drive, and hows the ride?

It's certainly a step up in refinement, but as for looks, I'd go for the Z any day

I've discovered this pic, so could be having second thoughts, on the looks front.

I think it's the grey, that's putting me off.

  3. From the symbol on the dash it looks like it makes a nice cup of tea

there seems to be plenty of gizmo's to play with, but as for the symbol, your guess is as good as mine.

maybe, it stops abruptly, and won't start again till you've had a break and had a cup of tea. :)

If you have had an accident that was not your fault in the eyes of insurance companies that makes you more likely to have another accident, that may or may not be your fault

even though you were in the house and nowhere near the car at the time, how can that be considered your fault.

  6. 10k over 24 months, not much scope for fun is it  What's the pence per mile penalty!!!? :scare:

You failed to spot the major fun factor killer - the SLK isnt petrol ;):stir:

Having just picked this up, I was told it's petrol

  7. :blackeye: Completely wrong :scare: but the Zed can't be tested on rollers for the brake testing, so should be tested on the road

Stongly worded letter the the garage owner?

Why can't it be tested on the rollers? Had mine in April and brakes were done on the rollers like any other car.

It screws up your LSD or something like that. I believe it's in the handbook!

  8. Hi,

They came today & basically they are the leather covers for the manual cloth seats, as the leather doesn't have the shape for the electrics.

Both sides have a centre section, but so do all the ones from transco. I got them to email me pics of all the ones they do, unless you go bespoke & thats £££. I think its just to match up aesthetically.

The quality is amazing! Transco sell them for £650, so they have to be.

I think my only option is to sell them on to someone who hasn't got leathers in their 350 & wants to upgrade.

Its a real shame as the quality is so good i would have definitely fitted them without a seconds thought, had they been the right ones for my gt. gutted!

    Pm me if your interested.

    thanks matt

    pm sent.

  9. I have to agree with you on the brown / tan shoes. I personally think that if your wearing a blue or charcoal / grey suit that a nice brown brogue shoes with a matching belt looks classy and modern. But defo wear a nice crisp white shirt and then add a little bit of colour with a tie or a pocket hankerchief :)

had a discussion about this a while back..
