    Is anybody there?

No answer from email question from last week obviously a one man band with no cover ?
  5. Rear number plate & tailgate release assembly wanted to fit my new ChargeSpeed rear bumper
  6. The system was taken off because the flange on the rear silencer broke off it's been welded back on otherwise it's the same as it came off. The centre section is after-market but the front Y pipe and rear silencer are original Nissan. The system was replaced with a full Milltek this standard exhaust made a better sound it's all solid so should be more miles still left in it. £150 or make me an offer I'm in Nottingham.
  7. I am guessing it wasn't someone on here that bought this? I went to have a look as its local, was in a fairly tatty state and the gearbox sounded horrendous when off the clutch in neutral.. I was also hunting for 18's not 19's so the wheels were a negative to me, guessing from peoples comments they would have easily covered the costs of a set of 18's though?! Mark It's been sitting in my garage for a week or two now, the gearbox noise is the release bearing the Nismo wheels have been refurbished diamond cut rims and dished centres, the front bumper was removed and damage sorted nothing broken. The interior is in good condition, when ordered from new this Z had all the options the Nismo exhaust sounds wonderful and in excellent condition. When I decided to buy it was working on the assumption that the wheels and exhaust are worth 3k so an HR for 7K was cheap. Nice one! Are you still local or did you travel to buy it? Mark Mark, I'm in South Nottingham went down to Bedford to view, had a drive in it etc. went home to think about it over the weekend, bought it and paid to have it delivered to Nottingham. Steve

  11. Who was it who offered the dealer £1500 for Nismo exhaust ?
  12. Hi, Has anyone got a photo of how the Parcel Shelf/Tonneau cover fits ?
  13. Hi, Has anyone got a copy of the fixing instructions for OEM boot separator want to have a look to see where the brackets fit top and bottom. Cheers Steve
  14. Hi, Should be some photo's with this message.
  15. Hi, Does anyone have for sale or know the whereabouts of a dash centre section for the later facelift model 2006 onwards. Needs to be the Sat Nav version. Thanks
  16. Hi, I've a pair of UK type seat belts with the extension arms from the B post to replace the standard existing Jap 350Z Fairlady one's without the arms. Where the arm swivels on the B post behind the belt holder is a large washer with a tab on it, when located this restricts the amount of radial movement of the arm. My question is please will someone have a look and see if the tab on the washer is a at 12o'clock and does it locate in a hole in the plastic trim puzzled by this. There's a pair of belts on ebay you can see the washer that i'm talking about on the photo. Cheers
  17. Hi, I have a Jap import with the plastic clip to stop the passenger seat belt rattling, trouble is the passenger never remembers to put it in the clip. So i have some later type belts with the extension arm ready to fit, the top screw mounting behind the seat has a device for restricting how much the arm moves up and down. This is controlled by a washer with a stop at the back, the washer has a small tab on it which would have to locate in the plastic trim which doesn't look right for a 350Z. Can anyone tell me if the seat belt extension arm has a limited amount of up and down movement and how this is controlled on a Z, a photo would be great. Cheers
  18. Hi Mike, Not heard of MJP before so I will give them a try thanks. Steve
  19. Hi Guys, Anyone know where I can get my hands on a later type facia centre cluster panel to suit Bose head unit. Ideally a 2006, part no. 68260-CF52A which is for sat nav. Alternatively any Bose type would suit either for sat nav or with closing lid providing it has the rouded corners, earlier type has square corners. Cheers Steve
  20. Hi, Has anyone had to change the battery in a 350Z watch from the Z collection. No mention in the instructions about battery replacement. Cheers Steve
  21. Hi Mike, Thanks for that it did the trick, first time didn't work repeated and the light went out. For anyone reading this if you have had a collision which has activated the SRS once repaired the airbag diagnostic module will need clearing of any collision data. Once back on the car it will usually be in diagnostic mode, thats the airbag light flashing. The airbag light will now need resetting as per the instruction in the link from Mike. Note having the airbag diagnostic unit cleared of collision data does not automatically reset the airbag light. Cheers and thanks again, Steve
  22. Hi, thanks for your reply. The airbag light had always been on continously. The previous owner said it just came on although there is evidence he did have a light front end smash but I wasn't sure if it was heavy enough to set any of the airbags off. I decided to send the diagnostic unit away to have any crash data cleared. The unit is now in diagnostic mode, the warning light flash sequence is off 7sec then alternates continously 2sec on 2sec off. The repair sequence for this flash pattern is the same for all the individual airbags and srs. Removing the three plugs from the diagnostic unit I have checked continuity of each individual airbag circuit etc. and all have checked out ok. I'm not sure where I go from here but didn't want to clock up a large bill at the Nissan dealers checking things that I can do. Cheers Steve
  23. Hi Guys, Any body know of someone apart from the main Nissan dealers in the Nottingham area who is a whizz on 350Z/Nissan airbag diagnostics and has the software to interrogate the on board diagnostics. I've run out of ideas. Cheers Steve
  24. Hi Guys, Anyone know where the front crash sensor is, all I can see on my Jap Fairlady is the ambient temp sensor. Apparently the sensor is suppose to be around the same area under the bonnet catch is it different for a Fairlady ? Will someone have a look please if they have a Fairlady and let me know if they can spot where it is. Cheers
  25. Don't bother with the type I bought off ebay some weeks ago. When they eventually arrived not at all what I imagined, strips of round chromed plastic beeding cut to lengh that push's on the lip worth about 10p crap. Cheers Steve
