i am going to be putting the Z into my local mechanic to do its main service (36,000) mainly cause i know i can trust him to do a top job and also because the stealers want extra for changing brake fluid etc... anyway, i was looking for some advice on which products to buy as i said i would supply the stuff is there a reccomended engine oil that is better than the stuff the dealers put in ?? which brake fluid do i use ? which gearbox oil is best ? does anyone know the part number for the aircon filter ? apart from all this and the other stuff that would be covered by the P3 service - is there anything else that could be done at the same time ? a bit long winded i know but i know you guys will have all the answers cheers Paul

my mate has the philips one and loves it, but as you say it would cost a fortune to change everything in your house to get the most out of it. nice peice of kit though

ok.....maybe i am not doing this correctly. i disconnected the battery at both ends whilst having the windows down fully, nothing happened, i kinda expected the alarm to start sounding or the central locking to close or something.... i connected it back up and the lights are still on i checked the brake fluid and it is on the max line i checked the traction control and the abs and both are not working. i even tried to push the esp button even though the dash light is on all the time and it didnt make a difference ?? i just think it is strage for these things to go wrong when the car was just being driven normally ? any more ideas are welcomed before i have to make the dreaded trip to the stealers cheers Paul

if this is the same one selling in edinburgh it looks like a great deal - even considered selling mine to buy it ! i did consider the s2000 before the z as the missus really liked them and i found my last honda relly hard to beat on build quality, but as you say the z is quite rare on the roads up here. good luck

what is the srs key code thingy

i have done a search but couldnt get anything specific to come up started the car up yesterday and noticed that i have 3 lights that are staying on - the ABS light, ESP and the light with the car skidding ( thats my favorute one) i have no idea what would cause these to come on ?? i have tried to turn the ESP off using the button but no joy im hopfull it is just a sensor that need reset and if anyone has any info i would much appreciate it. cheers in advance

i know you said 4 door but the DC5 integra has good rear seat size and a huge bootspace, you could pick up a 06 plate for £16 - 17k and even though they are only 220bhp front wheel drive they are bloddy quick as they are much lighter than the z.
