i built the box and slotted it in and the shelf sits on it and screws down onto the box here are some more pics

definetly didnt notice anything rattleing or any other noises

i also took mine off whilst the car was in the bodyshop, smoothed over the wiper hole and i have a plastic gromit bonded over the washer hole. never wished i hadnt done it and rain x also helps Paul

sorry forgot about this post, i have driven it although not spirted as i have managed to warp my front brake discs breaking in my new pads, to be honest i dont get to drive the zed as often as i like and dont think i would notice the difference cause of this
