Took the front nissan badge off and replaced it with the Z badge from Funkystyling. It was fairly easy to get the badge itself off, but the glue itself... my god what a pain in the @ss. Shall put a pic on 2mora after its nice a clean. Not sure if i am going to bother with the rear one. What is behind the rear Nissan Badge? are there any holes or is it just smooth paintwork?

think it was a 55 plate and Entered car park just as I was getting into my Z. It had Eminem "White America" pumping out. Made pretty much everyone in the car park and inside Tescos take a look. I need to print some flyers!

Well decided to invest it a Meguiars pack, containing NXT wax, shampoo, window cleaner, and a wash mit, also picked up a bottle of Meguiars wheel cleaner. decided not to bother with Random-Orbit Polisher, quite glad coz the NXT stuff is easy. Quite pleased with the Meguiars NXT wax. Previously used Mer and autoglym... no residue with this stuff what so ever. In fact its that easy I have polished it twice in one weekend

I guess this is similar to supaguard? Is it worth while buying some off ebay? I know it doesnt protect against stone chips.

well it would still be limited as long as it has the RX8 wheels on.

spoke to manager of local dealers. Apparently they are still having problems with the blue tooth unit that was meant to be in the 06 Zs. However when its ready it will be done free

Hi guys, is this unit specifically for the Z? is it the one that was meant to come fitted in the 06 plates? the parts dept at my dealer is saying he cant find anything on the system. They are also telling me that the unit has to be fitted in the factory and cannot be fitted afterwards. I know this is complete cr@p, and was once told something similar in respect to a hardtop for a MR2 roadster.. Told them that when I ordered the car, the salesman said it was bluetooth as standard but would have to be fitted afterwards due to problems with the unit.. all the bloody monkey replies is "dont know nowt abowt dat" Never fails to amuse me how useless dealers are. how on earth do they get to be nissan approved dealers when they know FA

is this a standard feature with the 06? I was given this impression when I ordered my car, but was told the unit would not be ready so would have to be fitted afterwards.

that is something that I am worried about, I dont really know what I am doing. apart from the polish itself, what else do you use or recommend e.g. polishing gloves etc?

Thinking of maybe getting a Random-Orbit Polisher. Just wondered if they were any good, and whats the best to get. Someone has already mentioed the Porter-Cable 7424. What about ones they sell in Halfords for £30?

it was the speakers in the bottom of the door, didnt check the rear ones.

I was sat in my car tonight having just pulled up, switched bose stereo off, and I could hear a very faint buzzing sound coming from the speakers... I wouldnt have thought that this was normal.. any ideas?
