Not sure if this is the correct place for this...but not sure where to put it. Im looking for some help- I recently bought some 18's for the z, all on and beautiful. however im now having a bit of a problem, im not sure if its connected or not - not actually sure how it could be...but here goes. I have a jdm tiptronic, and not sure if uk cars have it but I have a little light that flashes "slip" when the rear wheels loose traction. All good so far. recently this light has been flashing on during normal driving and i have lost all drive and push from the rear wheels - however the wheels are not slipping its as if the car is just not pushing. it returns to normal soon, but i normally have to touch my breaks first. my thoughts were maybe the tyres were new and not gripping, but they are not spining or slipping, then my thoughts went to clutch? any ideas would be appreciated. D p.s Hope this makes sense?

Thanks - where did you get yours from? also is it worth a bracket for the front?

Have tried to measure the gap needed for the rear, but not sure ive got it right. Does anyone know the correct size plate needed for the rear of an import? Im planning on just putting a uk size plate to the front - should fit?

Hey guys, Ive got the option of going for a set of 18" flat 5 spoke rims, but was wondering what sort of price I would get (and if anyone was intersted) in the rims on the car at the moment. They are the 17" 7 spoke rims that were on the import when i bought it. They are running bridgestone tyres with a staggered front and rear set up. Any ideas? Can i change the back light on my dash and dials - the orange is a bit poor! Silver/Blue would be nice. :-) Has anyone done this or know of anyone who has?? David

Hey guys, Im planning on chaning my indicator bulb to the silvatec ones, but the manual says to change any bulbs it needs to go to the dealer! - im going to try and squeeze my hands down - think some of you have done this from my search, any tips!? The main reason for this post is that i want to get rid of the orange reflector on the side of the headlight unit? ive seen a car in the states without it, does anyone know how it can be done? would appreciate any replies?! Its got the bose unit so im gonna see what its like, also got a mult md changer and im swapping the dvd rom for a standard dvd drive how do i remove the limiter etc

Its got standard 17", not sure what rubber though - was conddering at some point increasing them - but not sure really. I think i would rather have more toys inside, then play outside with body styling/wheels etc

Ive just put my depsoit down on an import 350z coupe. Really excited and hoping to pick it up next week! fingers crossed. Ive been thinking of getting a Z for ages now, finally made the step. Ive got a few questions if you would be so kind!? 1: what would you all recomend as the first minor/cheap mod to do to the car? 2: ive got an st spec model so am planning on changing the sat nav etc, have read what people have written - anyone any final comments on the subject? 3: ive looked in the armrest space for the phone connector, ive got what looks like a plug - im assuming this is what goes into the cradle? Anyway im sure ill have more to ask - thanks David
