Hi I bought a Jap import 350z and want top change the head unit. It has the upgraded bose system (with sub). Took it to a couple of ICE shops who tried but failed. They said the Jap wiring wasn't compatible with a UK stereo. There must be a way to do this. Does anyone know. I've already posted this question in a different area on this site but hope for a few more answers here. Cheers Nik

Hi I've just bought an imported 350z (japanese). Obviously the stereo will not pick up uk radio stations. I have tried an fm band expander but it was crap. I have asked several audio companies to put me in a new head unit but they failed. They said the wiring to the bose amp is different to uk spec. All I want to do is put in a new head unit (ipod ready) and listen to uk radio. Can this be done without changing the bose speakers/amp? Hope someone can help.
