Guys, Ive been offered approx 12k for my 52 plate blade 350 coupe. its got 32k thousand miles, black leather, bose etc - sound about right? Ive had no luck with non dealer sales so far????

I changed my rims too and had the same problem, its to do with the tyre size and ratios etc.... I had to change my tyre size so that is sorted it - search for my posts and you should find what i did! good luck

thanks guys, interesting what you think. Ive not got the original wheels as sold them a few months back (was running out of storage room!) Also just a thought, can we clarify what version it would be, ive got the attached document, but cant remember where i got it from. I think it was a import website??? I would probably be selling privately as not going to be buying a new car - i was aiming to be able to get 15+, around the 12/13 mark would mean taking approx 3/5k hit in residuals in approx a year - when i bought it i did some research and it was about the right money - so that would be amazing drop in residuals! Apart from Ebay, Autotrader has anyone used any other sites or papers etc?

Hi Guys, After some advice, Ive got a 52 plate jdm version S car. Its got black leather interior and the usual spec, ie. bose, electrics etc. Its got approx 30k miles and is in excellent condition - due to getting a new company car it does not make sense to keep it wasting away - what sort of price should I advertise at? Ideas? oh yea - I have replaced, the standard alloys with 5 spoke 18" rims, other than that I think its pretty much standard.

Has anyone fitted/used one of these? I have the option to get one fitted to the Z, is it much if any better than using the cradle in the car? I have heard that the factory built one is a bit poor?! Thanks

Thanks for the help - I have spoken to the US embassy on the phone today and they were most unhelpful!! For the £1.20 per minute it cost, all the lady on the phone was able to do was recite the website!! not useful!! Im going to speak to the local police to see if they can help - its not gonna stop me going, but i just need to be sure im not going to running the risk of being turned around on landing!! The holiday is going to cost too much money!!

Yes - I have a full British Passport! So am i correct in assuming from your replies that a speeding ban is not seen as a criminal conviction? Would i not have a criminal record for it? The US embassy website - says that speeding does not count if you paid a fine through the post? - As i may have to go to court for it -does that not exclude me from waiver? Unlucky about being caught - what did you get for that? Even on flat areas - they find somewhere to hide!!!!

I need your help guys. I potentially have a driving ban coming along.....I was caught doing 104 on a road in Wales. After receiving the NIP, and after many conversations with several solicitors I sent it back saying I was driving! I could have gone down the failure to supply line, but was worried that something would go wrong and make it worse!? However I would expect a ban (there are mitigating circumstances, but they are not important now) my questions is.....Im due to go to the USA at the end of the year, if i do get a ban - would i have to apply for a VISA or would I get in under the visa waver scheme? Im not sure if anyone would know - but help would be appreciated? Regards David

Ive been searching since posting it - still no joy!!

used the power to the interior light, all sorted now - did not get the lining up - but poped out the light and connected to the power socket there!! Nice and tidy. The only problem was that i somehow broke the catch on the sunglasses thing---anyone know where i could get another catch?

I can confirm they are two different companies - I bought my Z from Bristol Import Centre - (they are now not dealing in many imports just used cars as far as i know (the mechanic told me when i was there, more money in used uk cars!?)- hence why the name change etc) Its a garage just along from Pro Tyre if you want to find it. I also test drove a car from Imports Direct near Bedminster. As you said their initial approach was better. However the reason I bought from Bristol Import was that they had a better selection of cars - the prices seemed more reasonable. Its was all fairly easy - paid deposit, waited for my plate to be put on retention etc, then on pick up day took my old car as a trade in and off i went. I had a few niggles since but a phone call to say that im coming over and they were happy to have it back and sort it out. Ive been very pleased with them. As with all garages etc everyone will have their own oppionion! The huy at bristol import is a bit of someone you need to get used to, but i have no problems with him. Only my thoughts - hope they help!?

hey guys, Just need some advice - I currently have a snooper in the Z, stuck just by the rear view mirror. currently it gets its power from the power socket behind seats (with a wire from there across cabin to snooper). What im looking to do is get a permanant power source from the courtesy light - any idea how to remove trim around the windscreen and/or remove light fitment? David

Good find - thats the kind of idea I had - but never been overly keen on stickers etc...Might be worth a look though!? As far as why....personal oppinion, but I think the dash when the sat nav is not open is a bit plain!

so Im still not sure how to take them out - im planning on taking centre console out at the weekend, so will have a good pull/prod about and let you know!

was thinking of having a good go and either spraying them silver to match the door handles or colour coding the centre console?

Ive not got the slip pads and not sure where to get them... ive got the same issue as Traktion so I think i will have to get the garage to try the copperslip on the back of the pads!! (just a final thought (much like Jerry Springer) why would putting the copperslip on the rear of the pads make a difference...I thought the noise came as i braked.i.e. when the pads touch the disk?)

not quite the method I had in mind - but probably a workable solution!!!

Ill have a look - but dont think so....is that probably where the noise is coming from then....not from the pad on the disk?? If i havent got these plates can they be retro bought/fitted?
