Not sure what else to call this topic....Im looking to replace the gear shift in my auto Z - does anyone know where I would find one?? Thanks guys! I cant find one!

I know I have seen this somewhere in here - but for the life of me I cant find the answer Im looking for. I have just replaced all pads on my z - think I have apec pads all round. Now my issue is a really annoying brake squeal under use! Any ideas - I have taken back to garage a few times, brakes off - edge filed down to let brake dust escape, more copper grease etc - Does anyone have any ideas? I remember seeing something about alloy cleaner? but dont want to just guess...... Help!

Does anyone know where you could get the rear spoiler - Ive done a search for it and cant find it? Also saw a Z on a us sight with a stillen rear window spoiler - it sat at the top of the rear window - small and discreet - again could not find it? Any ideas

Did anyone happen to find a template for these? Again im planning on an install and need this to start - its raining at the moment and dont fancy having my leggs hanging out the back!

just agreed he will fit the tyres as described - the difference in tyre cost is in there, but he is paying a chunk of it and taking the used wheels back. I asked him where he got the tyre sizes fitted from and his manual for the Z states it as an acceptable tyre size - I assume this may be for other models or specs? not too sure - but should be all sorted - now just got to hope that this is actually the issue!? Just about to sort the tyre issue- can someone please confirm as the dealers are being useless - the tyre size I need on the car. Front and rear. I think ive understood it to be: 225-45-18 Front 245-45-18 REAR This true

I do however like the rear spoiler...cant find it on the net anywhere - any ideas?

15 Feet! thats quite a distance to push!! Will try it sat am, just in case they dont play with changing tyres! who knows!! Good find though - I know there was something like that lurking about!

Last few outings have had the traction off - no issues! So by simple deduction think we have found the issue!! going back to garage next sat to have a work.....

was talking about the front ones. As you said the rear is not even an option on jdm (unless in uk)

even when the spec sheet for JDM cars states that one is present? ive got a .jpg with the full specs of all JDM levels.?? Funny - i was thinking abou this very topic this morning!

so after all the discussion - is anyone able to get hold of the software and or product/module that will alow programing of the "extra" features - Mines a JDM and would quite fancy this certain option?! Any ideas guys?

Seems to have started a bit of a fight ...from current experience in the wet it can be a bit of a beast - but as its my second car will mainly be driving in dry weather anyway - will prob give it a go - my last car was rear engine/rear wheel and didnt have traction control - less power but was controlable (and alot of fun!) Will probably go back to seller anyway and see what they have to say - what kind of stuff should i be telling them? ratio's etc - prob gonna say that ive spoken to a garage and they have advised me etc. The tyre place is a good place ive used before - so this does suprise me a little.

Although slightly scary - alot of fun, I have managed to have some sideways time even with it on! just being careful after a friend managed to put his s2000 into a 360 spin on the motorway! You do however have a good point about seeing if it is the tyres of something else?. Guess i will give it a try.

Thanks for your help - dont think i can turn the traction control off? the only switch I have is the main traction control switch and im not really brave enough to turn this off!! Guess all i can do is switch the tyre sizes when i next get new tyres. Which size should i go for? I might go back to the place i bought the rims and explain whats going on - what should i say...I dont really understand the ratio's etc etc.

so apart from getting new tyres? what can i do?

Just checked.... REARS: 265, 35, 18 FRONT: 235, 40, 18. Thoughts?

Thanks - gonna keep searching for the post re moving the car backwards etc as not overly keen on resetting ecu just yet. The search continues...............
