  1. Its not full titanium but its half titanium. It is the Super Ti "Hybrid", not full Super Ti. The tailpipes & backbox is steell, the rest is titanium, its still an expensive exhaust, I have the same one. If it says "Giken Main factory" (which it does) then its the hybrid.
  2. These videos are of std Japanese 280bhp tuned Spec C's. Once exported out of Japan are remaped (de-restricted) to 320 bhp. A further simple exhaust & high flow cats with remap takes it 370 bhp approx. The yellow Sti Spec C RA-R, in the last video runs at approx 330 bhp. Which was followed in 3rd place by the white Spec C running at 280 bhp. 0 to 60mph on a 320 bhp Spec C is approx 4.3sec & weighs 1350kg (thats 16 stones lighter than a UK model impreza Sti!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoOIgmSXNuk Not the car in 1st scene, but 2nd scene
  3. Aha Just stuck it in Autotrader online for 6 weeks
  4. Phils right its the Fujitsubo Super Ti Hybrid exhaust. Half steel/ half titanium, used to retail at between £1200 to £1500 IIRC; made in Giken factory owned by Nismo (& similar to Nismo) but higher spec than Nismo. Thats not to say the seller isnt dodgy though!
  5. So the total fee is only £43? Dont they take a percentage of the sale price? Tim what do u mean? Sorry for ignorance on subject!
  6. What do ebay charge if I sell the car through them? E.g if I sell my car for £16,500, how much will they charge at the end?? Iv looked on their website & cant figure it out
  7. Not good Next week its going in Autotrader & I suppose maybe Ebay. But on ebay shall I put it at buy it now; or auction with reserve?? How did you sell yours on ebay Sarnie & how much commission do they charge for the sale??
  8. Well Im itching to get down to Litchfield Imports & sort out the exact spec of my Spec C to be imported. Will have to pay them £500 deposit & then can take 6 to 8 weeks to ship once we'v found a good one. The whole process could take approx 12 weeks I reckon, inc sva; service; remap/rolling road. So before begining proceedings I would rather have the cash in the bank from the zed sale. Once I make my mind up I dont hang about!! Ian from Litchfield was saying it shouldnt take long at all to find a grade 4.5 or 5 Sti Spec C in white, so its just a matter of selling my zed & then all systems are go ps though I dont want to end up with another car on my drive without selling the zed first
  9. Il be giving people money by the end of the month!!
  10. Reduced from original price of £17,750 to £16,495
  11. Looks a bit pricey to me, especially with newswseller putting his up at £17,200. Will be sorry to see you move on... True, but just seeing response, in no hurry yet! Iv got road tax/mot/service/insurance all for renewal in June so anytime before then I think. Will be importing a JDM MY06 Impreza STI Spec C in white, most probably through Litchfield Imports. But dont worry I wont be leaving here!! Been on Scoobynet & another, not half as friendly as you lot!! So unfortunately you wont be getting rid of me ps also I think in a couple of years I might be back to Nissan ownership with a used GTR 35 hopefully
  12. Cheers Did it in a rush !! £17,750 what do you reckon?? edited
  13. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/387388.htm
  14. How come I aint seen them yet
  15. It depends what u want. If you want raw power & speed & sublime handling then a IX Fq360 or JDM IX GT modded is unbeatable. (though Scooby RA & RA-R /tuned owners may have something to say about that! 0 to 60mph in approx 4.0 sec) But if you want better build quality/materials/ safer, stronger shell (better crash tested & has side impact bars & side airbags & a lot less occupant trauma stats in crash/ cheaper to run / & a bit more comfort but sacrifice some performance you cant go too far wrong with an Impreza. Each has their merits & short commings. I drove the FQ360 & though immensley powerful I felt it was too track/power focused. If I wanted just that I would rather go for an Exige/M3 CSL/Caterham/Noble etc etc. But something less extreme, but still imensley powerful & a daily drive, then the Subaru ticks those boxes for me. ps: Just had lengthy discussion with Ian Lictchfield, from, the- Litchfield Imports & it seems the JDM Spec C is the ideal car for my purposes. Most probably will get a Litchfield sourced one as most reputable co for Subarus/come with 6 months (extendable) warranty & are linked (next door ) to Powerstation (the dogs danglies in Subaru tuning!) who do all their mapping/tunning.
  16. Not bad, 3rd pos for Spec C, considereing Type RA-R is £10k more & NSX is in a different league. Thats with Jap restricted tuning 320bhp After a simple stage1 tuning at Powerstation (Exhaust/filter/Ecutek remap),360bhp plus is easily & safely attainable & is pretty much the norm for these cars
  17. Which Impreza did you have Chris? What do you reckon on the Spec C? I am begining to lean towards a white Spec C, which will have a lot more performance than RB320 & £5K cheaper, though a bit more hardcore & less refinements. Overall Im not bothered about image as I also have a BMW for most driving. (BMW will eventually be swopped for probably Merc CLS 320d or CLS350) This will just be a bit of fun & will do no more than 4,000 miles max per year. I cant be bothered worrying about criminals wanting it as a getaway car, theres too much to worry about in life anyway than what ifs etc.
  18. Right we'r back to this again! I cant seem to shake off that jap taxi/rally bug thingie!! By end of year prices will be down to approx £24k for a 2007 year one of these: RB320
