  1. I know what ur saying but who would have thought Ferraris would have them in the future. If you can have American style racing stripes on an Italian car then why not on a Japanese muscle car. The zed was basically Japans take on the American muscle cars back then.
  2. Here's one: Imagine it more like this: (but darker grey stripes, maybe dark carbon fibre-ish, on a sunset zed)
  3. What do they have in common! I am seriously considering stripes like the F430 Scuderia (1st pic) Please can people with photoshoping skills (as I have'nt a clue!) try & photoshop black & also dark metalic grey stripes on a Sunset Zed, in the style of the 1st pic. (if possible not on std unmodified zed, but one with at least bigger wheels) I would be grateful if anyone could be bothered! I think then a poll may be in order
  4. You right inside was quicker ! Shue changed cars as he had the red one 1st & IMO was only fair to swop to yellow as the red one just had a big off into sand on previous race & seemed slower after. IMO though Ekstrom won, Shumacher was the best driver there, he made lap after lap look so effortless & easy, consistently beating lap record, race after race, in every type of car. Imo he was a class above all others there, & I dont even like him! (changed my mind now though!)) Apart from Senna I think he is one of the greatest drivers
  5. Good day out, though a bit cold! Schumacher (I hate to say it!) was the best driver there & IMO stole the show. He did'nt win, somehow Ekstorm beat him in the last race, Schue didnt lose due to spin, he was a way behind & spun pretty much after Ekstrom had crossed the line. But Shue consistently broke the lap record time after time in differing cars & nobody apart from him broke the lap records. He was IMO the most precise driver, fluid & neat, not tail out or sliding. Though on final lap of final race he made one of the only mistakes, locking up all 4 wheels under braking & losing a second or more?. It was really interesting to see how the style of the F1 drivers differed to the rally drivers. IMO the tight twisty circuit was good for the rally drivers but the tarmac suited the F1 drivers so fairly even. Ekstrom was also very neat & precise driver. The F1 cars were deafening, the whole stadium was vibrating & echoing with the sound of two F1 cars doing donuts at near max revs!!! Fitting tribute to the great Collin McRae with a lone bagpiper & his World rally winning Subaru doing a parade

  8. Its what in politics is called the "salami tactic", if you slice a thin slice off, no one really notices or cares, so you do keep slicing off thin slices, but often. If you slice too much too quickly your in trouble i.e Margret Thatcher & the Miners in the 70's
  9. Has anyone got subscription to BCA Auctionview search? Either paid prvt individuals or those in the trade have it free I believe. If so could you please do a search for me as Im thinking of replacing my BMW 330d & looking for a used 2005 Merc CLS 350. Any help appreciated, Cheers

Import it yourself: just choose Jap Exporter to bid for you or bid yourself.
  12. ps has anyone found that their traction control is kicking off more often since fitting an air intake. I have found this definetley since I fitted mine, especially in 1st & 2nd gear, usually while pulling off after taking tight turns??
  13. Your biggest problem is gona be damp/frost/icey track. Yesterday it was approx 3 degrees & I was skidding & applying opposite lock down all the side streets around where I work!! This was while pulling away from stanstill or at only 10mph turns! But IMO a lot of this is to do with putting fatter wheels on this year, the 275 rears dont help in ice or frost.
  14. Fookin hell, £4.35 for max power?? Bloody tight Northerners! ps congrats on cover once again
  15. Evo 9' & pre 9 were about evey 3k to 4.5k IIRC. But Evo X is supposed to go further between services.
  16. Yeah Teatowel, I think I will look into them closely in the last qtr of 2008 I may give it a go for a couple of years to see me through to eventually buying a 1 to 2 yr old GTR ps the UK importer for that car quoted approx £24.5k total for the 2nd one down. And thats brand new.
  17. Dan I like the pic of the Rotties "Head of security" !!!
  18. Just found this & am quite puzzled? UK prices are going to be approx £30k. A similar spec brand new JDM Import from Mitsu Japan, (Premium Package TC-SST) is Â¥4,400,000 = £19,400 so inc taxes & shipping is in mid £20k's. Now thats brand new, a 6 month old one will probably be under £20k! They say the UK spec one will be slightly more powerful than JDM but thats probably just to stop too many imports. If there is any diff it will most probably be only a be a ECU de tune- easy to fix. Any opinions? Also what are approx duty & shipping costs? (My JDM zed was already landed hence not sure on costs) http://www.tradecarview.com/stock/japan_car/4/7346/ http://www.tradecarview.com/stock/detail.aspx?sid=833191 ps also look how cheap these Lexus SC 430's are, thats approx £14k cheaper than UK ones! http://www.tradecarview.com/stock/japan_car/4/7346/
  19. I will try & find the webpage now but definetley remember a US based magazine/website running tests on differing induction kits fitted to a Jap car. They found the HKS mushroom type to be one of the worst for filtration, allowing too much crap from air into engine. IMO JWT pop would be better in terms of filtration anyway. That was quick, first link I found here it is: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/
  20. Oh yeah, that was me!!! Sorry mate ps Iv also now discovered I get about 10 to 20 less miles from a full tank with the pop charger fitted
