  1. Thanks guys! Airport prices were more than high street, so I just used my 2mp Casio Exilim which gives terrific pictures. And Barcelona was ace
  2. I am off to Barcelona tomorrow and don't have access to my SLR Anyone have experience of a good sub £150 pocket sized compact? Will pick one up at the airport. The only desirable thing is for it to use SD cards, ideally. Ta.
  3. The Pantera and SL are particularly sad
  4. Yeah, sold to the nice bloke above who drove away in my nice shiny Z The exhaust rumble as he reversed out of my drive and down the road did give me a few twangs of regret Nothing else sounds quite as good The pile of cash he left did make up for it though (well, partially), some of which went toward a car that I bought 48 hours ago
  5. Yeah, although it might not be eligible as he doesn't own it anymore, it was the most stunning Z I have ever seen. A case of FI done properly, and terrific body kit, and looked after better than most people are
  6. You're about the 25th person to ask that, the first being about 2 mins after the ad went up! If I decide to split the pack, it's likely to be a bidding fest!
  7. Bumpy bumpy! Cmon - I am open to offers - you'll get yourself a good deal
  8. Just need to wait to ensure the UK spec is identical to the Jap spec. If the service interval goes to 9k then it's almost an automatic buy
  9. Thanks Sarnie - it is indeed well looked after and very shiny WRT price, as I said, I am open to offers of any sort. Hell, I'd throw in my kidney if it helps
  10. There is a reason though that no-one buys the SC Lexus - in terms of driver involvement, they are rubbish! And they look awful
  11. The Evo X for £20k or thereabouts would be a real bargain though!
  12. A couple of dealers I have spoken to are taking £500 refundable deposits at the moment, although I imagine that would change to a bigger non-refundable deposit as above when it's all confirmed for the UK
  13. With huge regret, the need for more seats forces sale: (and maybe a GT-R in 18 months' time ) 53 plate, December 2003. Blade Silver GT Pack, with all the standard GT pack bits - Bose stereo, leather heated and electric seats, cruise control, climate control, phone cradle and steering wheel controls 47350 miles. I am the second owner, I bought it with 6k on the clock from a Nissan dealer. Full Nissan service history. Last service was a P1, about 3500 miles ago. It's always serviced with Silkolene Pro S 5w40 oil that I supply. P1 at 6548 miles FP2 at 16364 miles FP1 at 25335 miles P3 at 34419 miles P1 at 43504 miles Taxed until April. MOT has just been done 18" Rays alloys with Pirelli PZero Rosso Asymmetrico tyres all round (loads of tread left). These are currently not on the car, as I have a standard set of 18" Z alloys that I have for day to day use, especially at this time of year. These have Toyo Proxes T1-Rs on the front and Falken FK452s on the rear. Both sets of alloys/tyres are included in the sale. dBA slotted brake discs front and rear (5000/4000), installed April this year. Goodridge steel brake lines and Ferodo DS2500 pads all round. Brake fluid is Motul RBF600. Nismo Exhaust - imported for £800 from the US. The original exhaust will also be supplied. Nismo Cold Air Induction Kit, with hydrolock bypass valve. This was fitted by a Nissan main dealer. The original airbox will be supplied too. Grounding Kit (Spill’s) Nismo Oil and Radiator Caps PIAA wipers all round Z Aluminium Tax disc holder Integrated phone cradle with Nokia 6310i phone included. Z floor mats Z boot mat Nissan tonneau cover (not fitted) All receipts for servicing, tyres, brakes, oil etc are kept filed so you can see what the car has had done and where. This car has been immaculately looked after, looking and running like a dream. The combination of the characteristic Z noise with the Nismo CAI and the Nismo Exhaust is truly the sweetest noise a Z can make. The clutch is tight, and has never been abused; the leather gets properly cleaned and treated regularly; it is kept garaged and washed, polished and waxed regularly. It has always run on Optimax/Vpower/Tesco 99, and the occasional tank of 100RON on the continent. £16000 all in. I am open to offers - if you break my kneecaps enough I will crumble! Without mods, I am looking for £14,500. Viewings essential! I am based in Gloucester, although can meet you halfway somewhere within reason. Offers and details via PM, email or phone please: Email : freon_inc@hotmail.com Mobile : 07970 199121 (occasionally off during office hours - please leave a message) Hasib Link below to the Pistonheads ad for pictures: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/305107.htm
  14. Exactly. Spend an extra £10k on a TT or a Z4M. Or put up with the squeek and spend your £10k on mods Get an insane exhaust and then hear the whole car rattle and squeak
  15. Nice car - I have had a few pax laps in one (being driven really hard) and it was very composed - second only to an M3 CSL IMO
  16. I'll be getting my name down tomorrow
  17. I'm definitely going to be there, likely on the Thursday if I can get a pass

    GT-R

I think the long and the short of it is that although the GT-R is sure to sell well, given it's performance and price, it is unlikely to snare Carerra buyers. I reckon it is more likely to appeal to track nutters who can't stretch to a GT3, but are in fact buying a ridiculously honed track car that's a great road car too.
  19. DS2500s do squeal like buggery (well, mine do) but I don't mind that at all because nothing has come close in terms of eyeball ripping stopping power (I hear that PF with DS2500s are even better). Having said that, I did about 18k with redstuffs on OEM discs, and thought they were great - a real bargain in terms of price.
  20. I saw a GM with charcoal Rays driving through Bewdley a while back and it looked awesome. The colour of the Rays was spot on - exactly like the anthracite on the Gallardo
  21. BigPhil is indeed the man - try dBA discs with DS2500s!
  22. I have used dBA discs and Ferodo DS2500 all round, along with steel brake lines and Motul RBF 600 fluid. That cost about £1100 all in, maybe a couple of hundred more than OEM costs. IMO it is worth it - the stopping power is fantastic, and so much more fade free than OEM!

    GT-R

I have to say I cannot wait for the new GT-R Do you really think that it will sell on the basis of Nurburgring times and 997 Turbo beating performance only? How badly will the Nissan badge hold it back?
