Yeah i'm finding that too now Stew. Tell me did you p/x your old car with who ever you bought your Z from? I am thinking of trying to ask the dealership down south to give me a value for my car over the phone (with some sort of disclaimer for both parties that if either car isn't what it's claimed it is then either one of us can back out without any repercussions) and if the price is right i would quite happily give them a deposit and travel to pick it up. Anyone ever done anything like this ever before !? I know it's a long shot - it's just SUCH a nice car and would hate it if it was the only example of it's kind that came up for sale whilst i'm looking and i missed a great opportunity !? When I bought my first zed I traveled from brum down to stansted to buy it and had agreed a px price on my old car. What I was after was very specific and as long as the zed was in good condition, I was going to buy. Also, the guy who bought that zed from me came all the way down from scotland on a train to buy mine from me To be fair, if what your after is very specific eg sat nav or alezan etc then you may have to travel The thing to remember is how good will the journey home be

Sorry mate but thats just wrong. Your basing everything on the trade in value of a zed. Who sells there car for the trade in value. Traders give you a low valuation to create a margin for them to make profits on your car. I sold my Kuro for £19k but trade valuations were as low as £15k. Ther difference is not an example of the market being overpriced, its the difference between the current market value and what a trader would give you. The trader would give you £16k and then stick it on his forecourt at £19k
