True. The fact that they have not mentioned such things in the ad makes you wonder what they would actually tell you when buying it. Imagine you agreed to buy it and go to sort out the insurance and they tell you its an import, what sort of excuses would they give?
The scary thing is 2 yrs ago I would of been none the wiser to the differences and actually lost a £500 deposit I put down on a JDM, not realising there were even such things!!
How your paying for it it toally irrelevant. Both cars have a value, full stop. They want to make extra money on you by getting you to have their finance. ask them if you get the finance cheaper elsewhere does that mean they will reduce the price of the car?

The problem is there doesn't seem to be that many at all (at least not up North)
Theres so many dodgy V-cars and grey imports its a bit of a minefield.
Nissan dealers seem to be asking daft prices for the Z so its pretty tempting to have a look down these alternative avenues.
