Do that in mine and you know about it. I wouldn't call it jerky - more like hitting a wall! Try hitting the limiter in a lambo! The engine cuts out totally irrespective of what speed your doing so lights go out and power steering non existent and there is no flashing light indicator either

If the lights are anywhere near the exhaust tail pipes then they may be needed, as mine fires out two foot long blue flames out when giving it some beans

Just curious, as when i had my black zed I wanted to fit the nismo kit and wheels but couldn't be arsed with the buying, shipping, spraying and fitting bollocks. So I sold up and bought the UY with the kit on instead and ended up with a nearly brand new car, with the nismo kit for the same price I was going to spend on the kit and wheels indiviually. My train of thought was that the money spent on the kit would be lost on a 2003 zed, just wondered if your train of thought was the same...........
