  1. In my opinion, to pull the Veilside kit off you will need more mods such as a new set of rims, defo 19" maybe even 20" and then it'll need lowering etc. I think the Nismo kit is perfect and you can maybe get away with 18's but 19"s will look best
  2. Need a more side on pic, but I'd say yes. Do you know the spec of your wheels?
  3. +1 - now you will understand his "needs spacers" posts which is pretty much every answer he ever makes Now you realise that its not a standard reply, but a justified one
  4. In that case I probably owe you 20 secs
  5. We weren't having a go mate honestly, it was just the comment that a new clutch mean't you could now keep up with a 520 bhp G Good luck with the sale
  6. Fraid not mate, had an email from CID today saying that they can't see anything useful from surrounding CCTV so not surprisingly it would seem that they picked their spot wisely. Andy: Hope you get over the nightmare soon. Whether you will want the car back now I guess is debateable - if you do I am sure everyone on here will continue to keep their eyes open. Not sure about any 'distinquishing' features related to your car (or its reg for that matter) so a bit difficult to tell from for sale ads or just spotting on the road whether it might be your car. If you want to share more......but perfectly understand if you do not Just mentioned this as seeing cfoster's equally frightening experience he also showed lots of pics of his car with some very individual tell-tales. With the greatest respect, Andy's car need some TLC Look out for kerbed wheels
  7. Can't you just phone a Nissan dealership to get the service history? They can print off the service details for each one. You can get a service book from Nissan and get the dealer to retro stamp the book, job done.
  8. I used to have the tiptronic and it was pretty damn good! Especially for someone using the car every day throught town etc! Do you guys that have been on this site for a while realise just how damn good it is? It's an invaluable service, well done to all those concerned. Can someone find me a car! Orange or grey, I've cash to spend... Orange UK GT: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/668687.htm Or this members car is a cheap (£9499) Grey import: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16193
  9. I have a PM But its not from Scrag Meister
  10. So, are we ever gonna see any pics then?
  11. So you replaced your 02 zed already?
  12. Are you talking about cars or girlfriends?
  13. The thing that a lot of people don't realise until they own a car like the G, is that almost every car on the road wants to race you. Also unless you set the road on fire and dissappear over the horizon, people in less powerful cars take it as a moral victory due to the price/performance ratio. Some guy tried to race me once in some supped up modded toyota import, thrashed him without going over 5k rpm but his car was nearly on fire. At the ensuing island he shouted: Nearly!!! My car only cost three grand though!! My reply was: It looks like it!! The point is that if the two cars were extended to the maximum of their capabilities, as expected, one would be long gone into the distance.....if you was keeping up with a G then the G was not being driven how it could be......
  14. Sorry to burst your bubble mate but a Gallardo is 5 seconds quicker than a Zed to 100 and your mods aren't likely to come close to closing that gap. Sounds like he wasn't trying too hard.... Beat you to it
  15. erm...............I'm sorry but even the manufacturers figures show the G's 0-60 at nearly 3 secs faster than a zed. The performance (and price) are leagues apart. You were probably gunning it up into 4th whilst he was still in 2nd gear and playing with the sat nav I'm sure the clutch setup is an improvement over stock but it doesn't add 240 bhp to a zed..........
  16. Yep they had them the other week at £99.99 At £199.99 you are not getting the tool chest free, at best only 50%. I bet you anything you want that the 150 piece socket set will be at £99 on the run up to xmas. Gonna keep my eye out for that - sounds a good deal and my last one was nicked by the removers when we moved - couldn't prove it though This is the exact socket set, this as never been more than £149.99 and for most of the year as been £99.99 i know because i got one. Its a very good set with a lifetime guarantee. But at £199 they have well jacked the price up so hence the chest is not free. Take my advice and wait. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... ryrn_76863 Cheers BTW I was being my usual difficult self over that other thread - read nowt into it whats done is done No problems Dorian That's nice of you - but I shouldn't be let off so easy. I took a contrary view just for the sake of it - which was far from clever.. Nevertheless, I would say that the recent success of this forum (as evidenced by postings and other stats) was directly related to the free and easy no pontification tone which was adopted from day one (31/12/2005). Your post got my goat - really from no good reason, I accept - but i realised long ago that i was the least qualified to point out people's bad habits to them [they are bad habits - but not mine to point out ] Saturday night again
  17. Had a Gallardo.................you must of suprised him as, with no disrespect, a G is at least 240 bhp up on a zed plus 4wd....
  18. Me too, tried to contact the guy who bought it recently to see if he would sell it back to me but he'd changed his number It's in sunny Essex now is it not. As far as i know its in Cambridge. Well thats where he lived when i dropped it to him I am told he has a shop near Saffron Walden, seen regularly there. Ah yes forgot he knows Mattler from the OC Maybe someone could PM Mattler for me? He's offshore at the moment but I will be speaking to him on friday Top man
