  1. Couldn't be arsed to start a new thread so I thought I'd add it here...... I have a 3g Iphone and hardly use it for what its intended (I have only downloaded two apps ) But now its annoying me slightly: 1) Is there anyway of speeding it up bar upgrading? Accessing the internet and some of the menus seems to take at age at times..... 2) How do you delete apps?
  2. I'm not a fan of GM but a Sunset,Auto, Jdm, roadster, with ropey interior does it for me even less
  3. Why have you put a holding fee down when you describe the car as you have, there are much cleaner versions about for that type of money. Walk away and wait till a clean one pops up. He hasn't reserved the 08 car
  4. Yeah but if you buy now and the house is say £150k or you wait 6 months and its £135k then wouldnt it make more sense to wait And then in six months what do you do? They might drop another 10% in the next six months, so you wait. Twelve months later, what do you do then? Wait another six months incase they drop then? If you follow that line of thought you'd never buy a house. Its the same when you buy a car, six months later you could of got a better deal but its all relative. The big difference with houses is that they can appreciate as well. If someone is looking to buy a house now, the best thing to do is do what you would normally do, and get the best deal possible. Then once you've bought it, forget about what its worth until you come to sell. Once your in, what difference does it make if your £150k house is worth £130k or £170k? Also the 10% reduction is such a generic figure and is dictated massively by location. Some area will still appreciate and some areas will lose 20% etc. Another thing, just because you see a house up for £150k now, doesn't mean the vendor will be automatically reducing it to £135k in 6 months..........
  5. They have no hope of selling it like that imo......................
  6. And how do you fit a bike in that?
  7. Declining house prices are only an issue if your looking to buy and sell in a short time period, as if you buy now but intend to stay in it for at least five years, what difference does it make what the value of the property is before that point?
  8. +1 on the scarts, PS3 and xbox360 should all go through the HDMI's...........
  9. My Sony plasma got screen burn from the sky+ menu.....
  10. +1000 Don't listen to the doom mongering of people who've never owned or driven such a car. Just because its £60k less than list doesn't mean its going to be cheap to run. Who would buy an M6 and moan about getting 15 mpg? Servicing will be slightly more than an M3 so budget about £800 for an inspection I and about £1200 for an Inspection II. Servicing intervals on M cars are dictated by the way you drive the car and not the usual 9k/12 months like zeds. Drive it on lots of shorts runs and the service comes sooner etc. I owned my M for 13 months and when I sold it it still said 4k till the next service......... so even though the service costs are high they don't come round that often...... The SMG box is awesome, changes in a millisecond, it can be quite savage when you give it some. And yes you can use the paddles or cruise in auto. Its actually just an automated manual gear box and not a standard auto..... A new clutch at 25k does not neccessarily mean its been thrashed. Its a heavy car with 500bhp going through it, its going to wear out consumables fairly quick, so 25k is pretty reasonable for a car like this...
  11. exactly, the other half seems more gutted than me at moment! At the end of the day I'd change my car at some point anyway. I'll see how things go and maybe just get a runnaround for a while, like Tarmac I'll be living it one month to the next for a little while it seems! Trust me, I've walked in your shoes. Selling the Lambo was THE hardest thing I've ever done. I actually think I could get divorced with less upset and regret Time is a great healer, and life goes on etc.
  12. Gonna be lucky to get that for £700 imo, I recently bought a Sony 40" for £740 and that was the best price in the UK......unless you buy a 'lesser' brand which is fine but I'm just a brand whore.....
  13. Its just a car.....................................don't let it get in the way of bigger life decisions
