Morning all, I posted this topic under the warranty section last night but was thinking it doesn't really go there seeing as I don't have any kind of warranty (Moderators - feel free to delete or place accordingly?) Basicaly my seats don't heat or is very slight. The switches all light up but that's about it. Anyone know where the thermostat for these is located? Is there a fuse for the seats? Anyone else got / had the same problem etc.. Not sure what to do and it's another thing that's really bugging me! Cheers all

Howd you mean temperature gun? Do you think it might of stopped working after I had my head unit taken out and swapped? Because I had problems with my actual heating ion the car last week and thanks to this forum found that the stereo fitters must of forgotten to clip back in the heating sensor during their work? But then I'm definately getting some heat from the passenger seat and maybe a little on driver side - don't understand??

Cheers guys - but Nope barely any heat coming out?? is the heat only supposed to come from the bum area? i.e not from the back area? Can't figure it out I seem to be getting a little heat but not much at all whether button pushed forward or back. As I said whether switch for either seat is pushed forwards or backwards the large bar illumination stays on?? Arghhh~"""""""""" Anyone else?

Just as I thought my heating issues were sorted, it seems my heated seats now don't want to play ball! In the UK manual it says there are two settings ( 2 bars) but when i push the seat switch the same yellow bar stays on???? ie. no thin yellow bar, you can turn the switch off by pushing the switch in to the middle like it says in the manual. Any ideas?

Why don't you try some dealers on Autotrader - quite a few who have JDM Zeds, I got quite a good PX for my last car when getting mine!? Has it gotta be a UK one now?

I'm 6 ft 3 pretty much and I gotta agree with the rest I find the space and seats absolutely fine. The more I drive mine the more I love it! Don't recall having the same feeling for any other car and I've been through a lot! £29k is a lot of money to pay for a car - did you not have any of these doubts before you bought it? You must of seen the storage space or lack of it during the test drive period?

That's a lot! As I said I've been quoted £140 and thought that was at best reasonable! Guess it's cheaper if you don't go via Nissan? By the way what oil and filter should I supply as your reccomendation? So if I supply these myself I should save a fair amount?? Thanks

What price should I be looking at for cost of second service? Have read the FAQ section but it seems to be missing prices for southern regions? Been quoted £150 - this reasonable? Also how much would I save roughly if I supplied my own oil? is this worth considering? Cheers

My wing mirrors fold in electriclly but my mirrors don't de-mist! Can anyone confirm if JDM Zeds have this option as it seems like they don't? and if not why not??

Sounds like they won't fit mine then as mine's a JDM. Th9nk it's worth giving them a call to see if they could get hold of equivalent for us?

Not sure they'd go with my silver Zed - standard spoiler on back, with 18" rays. Do you think the standard ones from Holdcroft would look better on mine?

Again - Many thanks for your help - you've just saved me a lot of cash I think!!! Right couldn't wait - just went to the car and found the sensor by pulling back the drivers side trim - and as mentioned unless it was me pulling off the trim - the connector to the sensor was disonnected Now seems to be working fine - however I only tried for few secs as had to get back in the office! Just had a chat with another JDM Zed owner who also cannot get her wing mirrors to demist - anyone else on this forum with same problem? anyone know how to fix??

I'm still having problems with my heating, and the wing mirrors not demisting, not forgetting the Xenons which I'm sure could be a tad brighter! The thing is I don't want to take her in to get looked at until I'm absolutely sure they are problems I can't fix myself! Wondered if some of you could test your heating for me on your Zeds. Have your heating dial on the lowest mark (18 degrees) then adjust by one click clockwise - do you feel an instant rise in hot air? Not sure what tests you could do on the wng mirrors as it seems the general consensus is that your mirrors do demist once you select the demister on your dials - but not on mine!! Think it could be a fuse gone? Think they could all be connected?? Thoughts welcome as I've really not budgeted for these things and it's doing my head in! The rest of the car is fine! Cheers

Not sure - didn't check, will check on journey home tonight, but as I was coming into work - about an hour drive there was still dew left on the passenger wing mirror. I'm beginning to think that some of my electrics are buggered - i.e. lights, heating, P.S - Any idea how much a front passenger side ball joint will cost?

Thanks guys. so re the heating inside the car. Are we saying for example if you get in the car and the inside temperature is at say 15 degrees and you have selected on the heating dial 18 degrees the car will give out the hottest air possible until that inside temperature of 18 degrees is reached. Then after that temperature is reached in the car the heat output will allign itself to give out 18 degree heat constantly? Re the wing mirrors then, once demister is selected for rear window your frosted mirrors will defrost, but wont actually demist your mirrors if you have say dew on them in the early mornings? These probably sound like really thicko questions but I've only got Japanese handbook so it's pretty useless reading!

It's a 52 plate, however they look pretty bright when you get out the car. I've just had my car back from repair (bonnet re-alignment) and they may of accidentally adjusted the lights, as when I parked up today the left light seems to shine higher than the right, but as per this earlier thread I'm not sure if I can re-align them? because apparently some Zeds have automatic realignment and the link posted earlier from an American website about how to adjust your lights - I can't find where the adjuster is on my Zed????
