There are millions of kids in this country - if they were all bad then there would be anarchy on the streets. There isn't. All there is, is a minority of idiots like there has always been, and a general dislike of children in this country (unlike other countries), again which there has always been. I'm completely against grouping people together and attaching a negative view of them. Kids, teenagers, students, goths, the unemployed, IT people, sales guys, blacks/whites/browns, christian/jew/muslim/athiest, gay/straight, etc - I just realised, is it possible to have been in every category? Digsy - what's the comeback on the damage to your car? Something should happen to that kid, even if they can't prosecute... the police should surely get him and his "mates" in a room with their parents and the victims and give them a rollicking! Fight Fight!

I was driving a Megane over the weekend (rental) and the lack of response from any pedal, the gear stick and the wheel was awful... the car was so forgiving I started to do whacky pedal/gear/wheel combos for fun. T'was nice to get into the Z this morning and hear the rumble, and feel the response :drool:

I remember if I'd have done something wrong then my parents would have been involved, I'd have got a bollocking of the police, my parents, then dragged around to whoever I'd upset for another bollocking! Tell me that still happens... Parents get blamed a lot these days, but I reckon some don't have much of an idea what their Little Johnny is up to because the loop is never closed! It shouldn't need a prosecution for that kid to be told off, accept he's done wrong, then be given a chance to fix his mistake. Not all kids are bad, but many demand the Rights without the Responsibilities.

On my way to Bristol Balloon Fiesta saw a Kuro on M4 west bound near Heathrow... I was behind you in traffic and you weren't slouching... On my home from said Fiesta I was a Chilli going opposite way (west) on M4.

The weather is always very variable isn't it... whenever I go it can, in one day, go from thunder and downpour to 30C heat, allowing one to steam nicely. Good pics, mate, glad you got to go round it - first time? The Z is good I think, perhaps a bit tail slippy. I went round in my mates M3 and that seemed much grippier to me, but then again it could have been his better driving We both went around in the wet and I was driving like Miss Daisy whereas he bombed it round with three other blokes in it. Have not been that frightened since going on that Pepsi Cola Big One @ Blackpool in the 80s...

I take it you mean "tell" in a bad way? I would have thought a respray in the same colour would be a good thing? I am going to go to a few places for advice, see what happens. I'll also take some pictures and post here to see what happens. Thanks again, lads.

Thanks for all that, lads. I need a pro bodyshop place to do the dent and the paintwork. I'm 80% sure I want another layer of paint on the bloody thing... What would they do to respray the whole car... assuming they don't just spray it, they would need to prepare it some way first?? Thanks for the offers of detailing, but I think its beyond that

I would happily (well, maybe not happily) have a respray if I was GUARANTEED a quality, durable finish - unlike the standard Nissan job. I would have it done in kuro black again... there are loads of little scratches all over the shop! bloody black... mind you, it looks lovely with some black wax on it

My Kuro is looking a bit battered these days and needs some sorting out. Its a mixture of dents, scratches and general paintwork fixing. What I'd like is one place to fix it all so the car looks wet black with no scratches. Here's the list of trouble, do you think there's a one-stop-shop to do this. I don't want to any work myself. 1) Light scratches across roof, down one side of boot door and across top of boot (as if a cat was dragged across it with claws out) 2) Stone scratch on roof leaving a nice white multipoint groove about two inches long 3) Flake of paint including primer, about half a finger nail, missing near driver's side headlight 4) Dent in driver's door, caused by motorway stone - one bodyshop person said it would need filling 5) Three-pronged scratch on drivers door, again motorway stone 6) Usual bumper/bonnet stone chips 7) Another flake of paint missing off bonnet, about half a finger nail width but a full fingernail length 8) various medium-serious scratches that will probably "polish out" 9) General unhappiness with swirls etc on black. Ideally, I'd like the dent fixed then the whole bloody thing resprayed. If I get it resprayed, what do you think my options would be (having never had to have a car resprayed - paint quality on this car is... ) HELP!

Buy a Z : it's bonkers! James May got it wrong... Clarkson got it wrong... Hamster got it right...

Sounds like a great Nurburgring car... me and my mate might be interested... hold that thought!
