  1. In it's day 2002-2008 350z was a awesome looking car but the 370z has made it look abit dated now. Both really nice cars style wise but 370z looks much more exotic especially in storm white. But I prefer the 350z HR engine more. Nismo 370z looks stunning in person though.
  2. I'm not a fan of black on black either. I think gun metal grey is the darkest colour to go for on a black 370z, but that's just my opinion but lots of people like black on black.
  3. That mpg you achieved is really good number. It's better than my 350z which is good because I was expecting same mpg.
  4. Seen the nismo for the first time today. Looks very nice in white and in black it looked very aggressive aswell. I preferred white and Thats the colour I will choose for my next zed.
  5. Looking forward to see how you get on with it. Need to protect mine from chip marks aswell.
  6. Looks nice í ½í±
  7. Have you ever owned a Supra? and what do you think is different about a UK Supra? On the uk specific spec supras Toyota GB upped the spec on few important areas (just like Nissan did on official uk R34 GTR skylines) Suspension changes to suit uk Slight different higher boost turbos hence 320+ bhp for uk models Full leather (and uk specific cream leather option aswell) They did few Tweeks to the brakes aswell Glass headlights And few more things aswell which I can't remember top of my head. The uk spec supra can be spotted by the little bonnet scoop on bonnet and the headlight washer jets in the bumper. These cars go for more money but it's worth the difference. I am well aware of the UK spec, i was just wondering what you though was better, first the 320BHP is a fallacy, , Despite the differences with the fuel injectors, turbos and overall weight (the UK car is heavier due to the extra mechanical bits), there isn't really any significant performance difference between the two. The J-Spec turbos spool faster, but the UK ones can take more boost. Both are very fast cars. Yes they had glass headlight's, and softer but not better suspension, but everything else was available as an extra on the import and was often fitted, IE leather (rears where never leather by the way) big brakes etc. etc.. I have owned a J spec Supra which i modified extensively and went through several incarnations and ended up with a big single turbo, i have also driven lots including UK specs, and there are no discernable differences in driving quality, in fact i would rather have the J spec due to the UKs spending there lives in our climate. Finally they have a much better build quality than any Nissan, and are if maintained like anything else far more reliable, IMO there is no comparison between the Z and the Supra other than the feel similar on the handling stakes. better build quality than any nissan? are you comparing with nissans at the same time as supra or any nissan produced so far? everyone has there own opinion because i thought the handling and braking and chasis and stability was worlds apart.between the 350z and supra in 350z's favour. 10yr gap shows in this comparison
  8. Grey
  9. Most mid 90s cars feel very soft today but a modified supra would be adequate. Either car you choose you can't go wrong as supra was awesome when it came out and z33 350z was awesome aswell when it came out a decade later. After driving both your decision will be made easily.

Wow, you can read the brochure. Have you driven or owned a Supra? I've driven a uk spec friends car to Germany nurburgring and driven a jap spec car aswell. I was deciding between the 350z and a TT supra in 2005 and chose the 350z and got: Nismo body kit Nismo LMgt4 alloys Nismo s-tune full exhaust Nismo s-tune suspension And never looked back or considered a supra again after that. But I was considering the uk supra over the JDM then after driving both back then.
  11. I take it you haven't seen steamed up frosted look plastic JDM headlights?
  12. @coldel Good points I really liked the supras when they first came out even more than the skylines as the shape is so beautiful and unique but in 2005 I chose a 350z over a super only because of it being much newer and really loved the shape of the 350z aswell and it being uniqe also. I personally love that Porsche look about it. Supra and skylines certainly the best cars of the 90s and so was a NSX But was in a different league price wise. Looking forward to the 2015 NSX and 2016 R36

  14. What about rarity? Number of seats? Noise? The rarity factor is a good point if that's important to the individual but for some the newer fresher car at the same price is better even though more on the road so less rare. The rear seats tbh you can't really count on a supra as they a beyond a joke. Noise? As in engine sounds? They both sound good in there own way the zed sounds better stock and supra sounds better modified but then again nismo exhaust zed sounds really good aswell( liked the nismo zed sound every bit as good as my 3k BMW m performance exhaust on my e92 m3)
  15. Few years ago I had a similar problem on my 2004 350z and all I did was remove the door cards and re fitted them again and the noise/rattle went away.

    Changing pads

Give it a go mate it's it's not as hard as it looks or seems. We did our car aswell.
  17. 2007 HR 350z is the one to go for but yours is a lot better than the early 2003-2006 cars.
  18. Zed is better than a supra in every way apart from speed if it's the twin turbo supra especially the uk supra.

    MPG

That sounds about right same as mine.
  20. That looks scary. Glad no one was hurt.

    370 front lip

My mate had a lowered evo-r kitted 370z which looked rough and cracked after 5000miles. You need to stay on top of things or stay on stock ride height.
  22. Nice attention to detail on some of the stuff you have done. FairPlay mate
  23. Looks more aggressive than plain yellow.
  24. I think it looks really nice with the black sections. í ½í±
  25. Looks nice. Are these the type 2 spacers which come bolts to mount onto the hub and use existing wheel nuts to mount the alloy wheels?
