  1. ALERT******NO LONGER FOR SALE****** With deep regret, I have my pride and joy up for sale. Finance clear. £13,995 ono Owned by myself since new, in December 2003, the Zed has provided long and faithful service. There is no outstanding finance, and no accident damage. The Zed is UK supplied, and probably the best value Zed on Ebay! Moving jobs has meant I have to sell the car. The car is taxed until the end of November 2008, and MOT'd until December 2008. Every conceivable extra has been fitted. The car comes with RAYS alloy wheels, Alezan leather upholstery, Alpine DVD satellite navigation (with the very latest DVD update (NVD Z004), hardwiring for an Origin B2 safety camera system, Digital Television (not analogue), Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Phone system (integrated into stereo), Alpine stereo system (DVD video, CD, IPod input), JL Audio amplifier, Infinity Kappa Perfect speakers, Nismo stainless steel exhaust (fitted 2007), KW Variant 3 suspension (fitted 2008), DBA brake discs and Ferrodo DS2500 pads (pads fitted this year). Full Hunter 4 wheel laser tracking (September 2008). Fitted as standard: Xenon headlamps, cruise control, climate control, ABS, ESP, heated leather seats, electric seats. The car has a full Nissan service history. A major service (FP3) has recently been carried out at the local Nissan dealer. Brand new Dunlop SP Sport Maxx have been fitted in the last couple of months to the rear. The car is a bargain, even without accounting for all the extras included. Servicing: (All by local Nissan Main Dealer): FP1 (8/3/2004 @ 9,059 miles) FP2 (10/7/2004 @ 18,838 miles) P1 (2/12/2004 @ 27,010 miles) FP3 (30/4/05 @ 37,362 miles) FP1 46,621 miles (and brake fluid change) (31/8/2005); Rear Brake pads replaced FP2 (23/1/2006 @ 53, 775 miles); Platinum spark plugs replaced. FP1 (16/6/2006 @ 62,182 miles). Clutch fluid changed, replacement of auxillary drive belts July 2007: DBA discs fitted all round FP3 (14/9/2006 @ 71,042 miles); Flywheel + Clutch + Windscreen wiper arms + brake fluid replaced FP1 (24/2/2007 @ 78,039 miles) FP2 (3/8/2007 @ 88,796 miles); gearbox oil changed FP1 (5/12/07 @ 99,448 miles); limited slip differential oil changed March 2008: KW Variant 3 suspension and Cusco anti roll bars fitted by East Shore Racing. New Brake pads fitted all round (Ferrodo DS2500) FP3 (18/4/08 @ 108,825 miles); new New platinum spark plugs fitted, new auxilliary drive belts fitted It is with great regret that my car is for sale. The very low price reflects mileage and faults listed above, as well as the extensive upgrade to specification. No Part Exchanges please.
  2. Hi there; where abouts in NZ are you. I used to live in Taranaki and Auckland for a couple of years.

    Ring Times

He does it in a GT4, normally aspirated. He can do it in under 10 minutes in a Ford Focus Diesel.
  4. Well worth the trip! KW variant 3 fitted. Superb upgrade. Phil also swapped my butterfly valve over (got off callibration after I cleaned it)!
  5. Hi there, I posted about the Nurburgring times. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 782#173782

    Ring Times

While I was getting my suspension fitted at Big Phil's, someone from the site asked me what the benchmark ringtimes were (I said I'd look into it). I checked with my mate, and he can do it in c. 8 mins 45 seconds (He won his Zed racing on a Playstation); he said the benchmark was c. 8' 20".

    100,000 miles

No; had a timewaster wanting to buy. Added KW V3 suspension (BigPhil). Superb!
  8. Due to a timewaster, I have decided to keep my Zed. i have upgraded her instead with KW Variant 3s!
  9. Cheers. It already made more than £11,200 on an Ebay auction, but didn't meet my reserve!
  10. With great regret, I am putting my 350Z up for sale. It is well known to the UK 350Z community, and was featured in magazine articles about a trip to Istanbul. Taxed until November 2008 and MOT until December 2008. It is for sale on Ebay (3 day listing) with NO RESERVE! Starting bid £10,995! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=014 Owned by myself since new, this is a UK 350Z GT, registered December 2003. It is Sunset in colour. There is no outstanding finance. The car has been featured in many magazines. It is in very good condition. It has been maintained by a main Nissan Dealer (regardless of cost), and has a full service history. It has almost all the possible extras including: Entertainment and Navigation: Alpine Satellite Navigation Alpine DVD player/multimedia unit with Full Speed Ipod integration Alpine Digital Television Alpine Reverse Camera Nissan Reversing Sensors Integrated Origin B2 holder (Origin B2 unit not supplied) Integrated steering wheel remote control Sony Ericsson Bluetooth in-car kit, integrated into sound system Infinity Kappa Perfect speakers (front), Infinity Speakers (rear) JL Audio Amplifier Wheels: RAYS alloy wheels (with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres) Interior: Alezan Leather Upholstery, Nissan floor mats, Nissan Boot mat, Tonneau cover, carbon fibre switch panel covers. Exterior: Phillips extra bright headlights PIAA LED sidelights Mirror Finish PIAA indicator lights Grounding Kit Brakes: Disc brake Australia Discs (2 piece at the front, one piece at the rear) Ferrodo DS2500 pads Stainless Steel Brakelines (Goodrich) Exhaust: Nismo Stainless Steel Exhaust (purchased late 2007 new) Security: Pentagon Supaglass Security Glass (Light Smoke) Standard features: Leather Upholstery (the Alezan colour was an additional extra), cruise control, heated seats, factory fitted alarm and immobiliser, electric windows, trip computer, ABS, ESC. Purchased December 2003 Service History: FP1 Birchwood Nissan 9,059 miles March 2004 FP2 Birchwood Nissan 18,838 miles July 2004 Beadles Nissan took over Birchwood Nissan (Maidstone) P1 Beadles Nissan 27,010 miles December 2004 FP3 Beadles Nissan 37,362 miles April 2005 FP1 Beadles Nissan 46,621 miles August 2005 FP2 Beadles Nissan 53,775 miles January 2006 FP1 Beadles Nissan 62,182 miles June 2006 FP3 Beadles Nissan 71,071 miles September 2006 FP1 Beadles Nissan 80,359 miles February 2007 FP2 Beadles Nissan 89,796 miles August 2007 FP1 Beadles Nissan 99,448 miles December 2007 The car has mainly been used on the motorway. It really is a Grand Tourer, I have driven to the continent without any problems several times, including a trip to Istanbul, which was featured in some magazines. This is a very reluctant sale. No traders/canvassers. No test pilots. You are bidding to buy. It would be very difficult to find a similarly specced and maintained UK Zed for sale; certainly at this price.

    100,000 miles

Just go back from taking it to Riga. Still going strong, although the suspension is getting a little squeaky.

    100,000 miles

The service plan was worthwhile (interest free and covered expensive platinum spark plugs and labour for replacement).

    100,000 miles

My personal belief is that there was something wrong with the setup on clutches 1 and 2 (used mainly for motorway driving only; absolutely no track use). The clutch pedal had an abnormal feeling (as it did with the Nismo, but that was to be expected). I complained, but to no avail. Clutch 4 feels completely normal, and has been used on a driver training day and the Nordschleife; it's still going strong.

    100,000 miles

I haven't found the costs of most of my tyres, a set of brake discs, and a few other things yet (see grand total).

Error on the mileage; now corrected.

Yes; no point in selling it now!

  18. Yes; but the clutches are quite expensive too. TBH the last clutch I have had (when the flywheel was replaced at the same time) is the only one which has ever felt normal (it is a standard Nissan clutch and standard flywheel; has lasted 28,000 miles so far), and has lasted a long time, so I can't help wondering if something was wrong with the setup. FYI the last clutch I have had has been used at the Nurburgring (*4), Silverstone and Millbrook; none of the others had; they mostly had motorway miles! The door card (£500) got replaced as I broke some clips on it trying to mend the window motor! Hello Sharpe.
  19. I think someone may have overtaken me (commutes from London to Cardiff), but I'm not sure.
  20. Yes: Clutch plate and cover: 4 (1st 2 went incredibly quickly, current standard one is on 28k) Flywheel: 1 Brake pads: standard fronts replaced around every 18k, rears around every 36k; moved over to Ferodo DS2500, front lasted 27k; rears still going (on 28 at the moment, with plenty of life left) Brake discs: 1 full set at c.60k Driver's seatbelt *1 Passenger window motor, regulator and door card *1 I think that's about right; i'll go through all the receipts at c. 100k
  21. There should be a new version (NVD Z004) coming out imminently. Although a lot of sites say their systems are shipped with it at the moment, I believe this may not be correct at present.
  22. Went to the Nordschliefe at the weekend. On c.97k at the moment.
