  1. Would love to do that! Done snowboarding and both waterskiing, right up to monoskiing, so think I'd be up for a laugh with that..... Will have a proper look around the site later There's plenty of lakes around the country with wires (rather than boats) so if you're interested e-mail him off the site.
  2. All, please see link to my brother's website. www.wakestuff.co.uk Anybody that enjoys water sports (behave!!) or looking for a new hobby it looks a right laugh. Any feedback gratefully received, especially from you technical bods!
  3. 'Kin ell. That's gonna need some clever driving skills in damp conditions!
  4. Have they just cut and shut a 911 rear to a Mazda RX8 and then bolted the Cayenne front on!?!?! It's fugly!!
  5. Look great mate! Am about to get some goodies from Adam too!
  6. If it is the axle, get them to do it before you pick it up. It's a known warranty issue as has been said.

    Brembos????

And if you know which is the right end of a screwdriver and a wheel brace, you can fit them yourself in about 45mins - an hour.
  8. You rolled your Zed?? Any pics, take it you were ok?
  9. You don't rub it in mate, be careful with it! You really lightly 'smooth' it on and let it dry for 30-60 mins, and it will dry into a film. This is when it hardens and seals the car, creating the protective coat. So use a clean cloth, apply to product to the cloth and very gently apply it in straight lines across all of the panels. In a few minutes it will start going hazy so you can see where you've been. Plenty of people win concourse trophies with AG so you should expect a good finish!
  10. I used to think it was lardy. Until I saw the weights of other 'fast road' cars. It's not as bad as you might think.....
  11. I'm currently using Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II, AG Ultra Deep Shine and as much P21S wax I can put on!
  12. If you get an Alpine unit or something like a PXA-H701 controller you can use a good AUX input. You will need to get some amplification and speakers as well as the BOSE stuff works on funny output / input levels.
  13. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... inter+coat Take a look mate. It's a semi permanent coat that will help a little against stone chips. I always add some to mine before winter sets in properly. It means that keeping it looking like it's just come from a showroom is very easy, and Show Shine brings it back after a wash and dry. You ideally need to keep it inside while it dries to prevent dust build up while it dries fully on the car. Any other questions, let me know. This was my old show car prepared with what you've used....
  14. The man is right. I assumed if you were going down the route of PC in car you'd want something done without the use of magnets to get the sound from it!

    CCTV

Depends what you want to use it for. I had a £30 black and white + sound B&Q camera at my last place hidden from view. If you want it for yourself and that's it then legality isn't such an issue. If you want to use it for court then whatever these guys say I guess.

    Insurance

Zurich do a household policy which is useful for multiple cars. I think you pay to insure any car in the household up to a total value of cars and it's an extra £75 per car. Something like that.
  17. In a word, no. It's pretty inflexible.
  18. In that case if you go UK car the warranty will have gone I would think so look for any signs of the warranty points when you see a car. As for the JDM route, I'm sure one of the import guys will be along soon....
  19. Am pleased to see much of it was carried over. For me, am pleased they added the little spoiler on UK cars. It's also a shame the rear bumper, instrument binnacle and centre console didn't carry over. Looks
  20. I didn't realise we had such a bunch of posers on here!!!
  21. Welcome! I get 26mpg average out of mine, all driving taken into account, using Shell V Power. 95RON takes the consumption down a bit. Insurance, as has been said, is a lottery. Mine at 25 is about £600, 3 points, 2 years NCB. Mod wise, plenty of visual bits available, from tacky stick on, to top notch Jap tuner products. Speed wise, it's not slow in the first place and then noticeable gains will need £'000s spent. Subtle changes in exhaust / induction / plenum will add slight changes. For any faults, take a look in the warranty section here. How old a car would you be buying?
  22. And then you can do mine mate! Get a lady in there on top of the previous stuff too
  23. Nice one Beavis. Get yourself a Supervisor badge!
